Thank you for your generous 5 star rating for "Calm Before the Storm".
Thank you for listening to Into the Blue Tango, and your generous rating!
Norb--You are very welcome. You have beautiful songs and your guitar skills are impressive!
I enjoyed listening to your composition Train to Despair!
Thank you so much Norb!
I enjoyed listening to your piece I Will Wait for Fairytales; some interesting and unexpected "chording" changes.
Add to my previous comment: Loved Forever!
I quite enjoyed listening to your nuanced composition, Precarious!
Thank you for listening and your positive feedback and stars. I appreciate it!
I listened to Dark Sea and Into the Blue-both very beautiful and impressive guitar skills! 5-stars.
Thank you Jeana. Your comments are very meaningful; coming from such an accomplished musician and composer.
I really enjoyed your composition Dulce Lilia, #7 of New Age Alternative!
Nice guitar work, nice production.
I quite enjoyed Weathered, #6 in New Age Alternative. You are a skilled guitarist!
Thank you Norb!
Thank you for your in-depth review of Children Cry, Lament. Again, you are a very good listener, and I respect your opinions, and the time that you commit to your reviews.
You are most welcome Norb, it was a pleasure to listen! -diane
It is gratifying to know that others appreciate my music, especially someone with your credentials.
Thank you for your gracious review of Canyon Walls Echo,
I was just listening to some of your music. I quite liked Tumble Weed, TIC, & Creepin'. You are a very skilled guitarist. I really appreciate all of your rhythmic interplays.
Norb, you are too kind. Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and commenting. Getting appreciated for your art never gets old. I'm sure you know the feeling and can agree!!
Thx again Norb
By the way: Norb Studelska - Is that Hungarian by any chance?
Oh nice! I had a feeling it was Slavic. I am Croatian. Last summer my parents rented some rooms to a family of Polish tourists vacationing in Croatia for a couple of weeks. If only all tourists who rent were as respectful and nice as they were.
Thank you for your very complementary review of Canyon Walls Echo. It is always gratifying to know others enjoy my music.
I just listened to your tunes. You do the "3 piece" quite well. You have an interesting 60's - 70's vibe.
I just listened to your tunes. You have an interesting "retroish" vibe.
When I'm in Madison, I'll watch for where TST might be performing.
Thanks for reviewing Time to End It. I pretty much agree with your constructive criticism. I'm a marginal vocalist at best, and most of my tunes have little commercial application. Yeah, and the length, I just "could stop" playing guitar ( yup time to end it)!
Thank you for your generous review of Aire In A Minor.
I will give a listen to your submissions,
Thank you for your review of Another Road to Nowhere.
Quite obviously, a much different genre than the last tune of mine that you reviewed: Gina's Waltz.
Thanks for taking the time, and your generous review of Angels in the Snow,
Thank you for your generous rating of Into the Blue Tango.
I listened to your music and in particular like What Of It and Paka Loko.
Your music is very "listenable". I really appreciate all of your rhythmic interplays!
Happy New Year,
Thank you, Norb! And Happy New Year to you!
I am gratified that you are a discerning listener, and hear the subtleties that most causal listeners miss.
Oh my pleasure - I love reviewing great music. Really puts my "Listener ears" on. But here is the review without the typos, sorry, I was typing too fast I guess, my apologies. I thoroughly enjoyed the piece.
So, here is the corrected review: Lovely vibe, lyrical melodic lines, and choice of instrumentation is subtle and lush at the same time, kudos. Really enjoyed the harmonic development, the attention to phrasing, I really liked the gorgeously understated emotional vibe, the perfect grace notes, etc. I really didn't want it to end.
Okay that's better, Kindest regards, Diane
Wow, really didn't need to do that, but I get it; that's what I would have done!
Thank you for your very generous review of Aire In A Minor!
Indeed, the guitar and violin "voicing" are all real instrumentations. It is gratifying to know there are discerning
listeners that can discriminate actual live performances.
You are too kind!
Thank you for taking the time and your generous review of Gina's Waltz!
I will listen to your songs.
Happy New Year,
Thank you for the generous rating for No Net Down Below!
Happy New Year,
Happy New Year Amy,
Thank you for taking the time to review my recording of Ave Maria. Yeah, I do not speak Latin either, as Schubert wrote it, but I liked the male voice as an instrument. I actually intend on recording Ave Maria with a female vocalist (in English), with one guitar and violin as backing instruments.
Sorry to hear that you have a neuro-muscular affliction, persevere.
Thank you for taking the time to review Haunting of the Glen. I'm sorry that the lyrics in my ballad were not more clear for you, because I think that you would have appreciated the story.
Norb you can apply the lyrics to your songs so that they can be read when listening.
Nothing wrong with your song!
Happy New Year Kate,
Thank you for taking the time to review Dark Sea. Indeed, it is my original tune.
Oh cool. Sometimes when the genre is folk traditional i don't know what to think.
When I was much, much younger, I listened to a lot of Fairport Convention, Pentangle, etc., so there is the influence from my deep recesses.
Thank you for the generous rating and thoughtful review of Calm Before the Storm.
No worries. I really liked how you layered the guitars and it was excellent playing. I hope you had a great holiday and take care! Arden
Thank you for your generous review of Morning Lullaby.
Best holiday wishes,
Thank you for taking the time to review Tomorrow Will Keep, and your thoughtful review.
Thanks again Norb, this time for your review of Glendalough. Very much appreciated.
