Hello BJ Buddies, I found a new producer here in Marion, IN. His name is AJ Berning. He's young and very talented and we have already recorded 3 songs for my new project, Marvel. It's going to be a digital release unless I get some definitive requests for hard copies. So far we've recorded The Chocolate Song, Bushwhacking Blues and Let Your Heart Live Forever. I haven't put them up on Broadjam yet, but I will. It's been WAY TOO LONG since I've posted new material.

Cheers Mrs. Kate! And thanks for the perfect review of Too Much I Don't Know (guitar version). I do have a vocal version as well which may be of interest. Much appreciated. I hope you are well.
I caught Covid on our 2nd week in Hawaii, POSITIVE that it's because those around us, especially on the flight over, who were NOT wearing masks--on a 5+ hour flight? Anyway I'm "negative" now and getting along fine...and amazed on how many folks, some I talked to waiting to get home (from Orange County) who weren't even vaxed! Wow...so I'm going to ask a favor, and if my friends here don't like it, tough! You often bless this atheist with saying you'll pray for me, but can you put in one for those who refuse to care for others by getting vaccinated and when appropriate wear a mask? They need the prayers more than I at this point.
Please stay well, and thanks so much again for the kind review, I hope your ongoing endeavors continue to be successful! When I tell my friends here I'm a friend and fan of yours, they can't believe it--I just tell them that there are many ways to do good work on the planet!
All the best,
Warren

Yikes, Warren, so sorry you got sick. Tim and I got covid (probably from our kids). We were both vaxed and boosted. Tim got a fever for 2 days; I had a much milder case. No bad after effects. My sister had heart and rash problems after covid. My DIL lost her taste and smell 2 years ago and it's slowly improving. I will pray as you asked. Thanks for your kind words and I appreciate your friendship. Tim and I are meeting college friends in Door County WI (hopefully at the height of color season) in October. Trying to act retired. Your friend, MK

PS R U a fan of Chet Nichols? His new album, Death by Selfie is amazing. www.chetnichols.net

Thank you so much ma'am! Funny I was bragging (serves me right LOL) that after 11 days I had full taste and smell, and brag of those abilities all the time--well day 12 I lost about 1/2 of both, but expect it to come back. Yes, my case was between mild and moderate, but thankfully my wife never really got "it", she's tested positive and has mostly allergies as do I...now KEEP ACTING RETIRED, I'm doing the best I can LOL--and enjoy the colors out there in WI!
Peace,
Warren

I'm with you Warren, all my friends and family have been fully vaxxed and I was due a winter booster tomorrow (a back spasm had forced me to postpone it). Thankfully, in the UK, the conspiracy theorists have largely disappeared and no longer have a voice. However, when a very good Bjam friend in the US feels they cannot go out in a mask for fear of ridicule, and even assault, it's a sorry state of affairs.
I'm not sure my prayers would weigh much with the Lord after all this time Warren, but I'll give it a try!!
Be good.

now i didn't say THAT I PRAY, but i respect Mrs. Kate, she does good "works", so much so that even this atheist respects her...but if she votes for a Republican again, we will have to talk further! LOL...hi Kate!

Ok dammit--
I'll thank the people who have contributed and YOU Kate for being a superb human being...
and since I have not contributed, I'll slide in 50$, your tip jar right? As long as you're not forcing those Africa folks to do anything and it's outta the goodness of your good heart, I'm in-- and no quilt for us-- put me in but if I win I will trust you to donate it to someone who really needs it... cool?

Hey Warren,
Thanks! The well is for the WHOLE VILLAGE and no strings attached...not even guitar strings! Grateful for your partnership in this project! No tickets, got it! MK
And by the way, BJ is waiving the fee they take off the top of tips FYI.

Very good and I didn't know that BJAM took a fee for tips! Actually have you asked our leader Roy to make a Bjam contribution? Just a thought...
Best of luck reaching that goal! Humans helping humans as I think I've told you is my idea of "religion"-- humanist.
Did I tell you the first song I learned as a tike was Onward Christian Soldiers?
True, catchy little tune :)

Hi Katie,
Thanks so much for the review of our song "Baby Hop". Quite honestly, I forgot that I had this one set for peer reviews.

That song was actually written/recorded "just for fun" many years ago... never intended to be publish it and/or open it for critique... but that's okay.

When my daughter Rozalind was 10 years old or so - she wanted to write and record a song like she saw me (Daddy) do. She was very adamant about this. Roz came up with the words and the melody all on her own and got her best friend Shawn Perovich to help with the singing and jumping around! Roz just needed Daddy to help supply the music and "other stuff" as she called it. :)

So, thanks so much for your thoughtful and meaningful comments and suggestions!

I appreciate you taking the time to listen and offer up your ideas... all very much appreciated!

Thanks again... be and stay well!

Frank
