Shanin grew up in a house of guitar players and music has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. She started playing guitar when she was 12 and has been singing her whole life. She was in several choirs throughout high school and college where she performed at a variety of events, including singing the National Anthem at sporting events, coffee house performances, and even singing at the circus. In addition to singing and guitar, she also plays keyboard and writes and produces her own music.

Shanin covers a variety of songs from several different genres including pop, country, folk, and alternative. Her originals have a heavy influence from artists like Aurora, the Cranberries, and Dido. She is open to being featured in films, TV, or similar opportunities.
