Hey, Warren. A tad down and nothing to show for it. Yep. Easily understood, and living it, too. Having myself a couple of brews this afternoon. If that doesn't work...doughnuts! In the computer life, consoling yourself means working in consoles! Weird. Rearranging the mix in the DAW, adding buses and EQs. Cheers! John

The bar is open and I'm going for my third! I've been remixing "Equal" and really bringing it out. I'm amazed at how much I've learned since last spring. Engineers secret: add a couple of beers to the EQ to enhance the dbs between 250 and 500! The great Bob Bentley is working on arranging "Comes and Goes" with a contemporary country flavor. I want to keep your amazingly beautiful slide guitar in there. His first ruff take to give me an idea of what he was up to is exciting as heck.

Hey John haha a couple of beers is always a good idea. Can't wait to hear the finished version of come and Goes. I personally think it's one of your best. All the best my friend.

Hey, Warren. Lovely job on "Close Your Eyes." You have a very good melody with switches between the minor key of the body of the song to the major key of the chorus which really defines the unsure followed by the reassuring moods. Very nice vocal harmonies, too. John

Thanks much my friend, well that is vintage hein from 2008, and was buried deep on my page...I found a slightly better mix I had, that back story is the singer COULDN'T SING IT in that key, so I had studiopros in LA who produced it with my direction of course, simply "work around" the fact it was too low in places for the singer...it came out ok, but I'll "someday" have the key upped and have it resung...but so many tunes are buried on my pages that I feel folks for good or bad haven't heard, I sometimes dig them up LOL...thank you so much for the listen and comments...I am proud of the composition, if not totally with the production, but the idea/feel/melody/lyrics are there...
