Sweet, sincere and direct...

Happy 2019 to all my friends, fans, and family...2018 was a good year for my songs: 15 selections for various opportunities and 8 licenses sold to artists and producers for rights to possibly record, and one artist purchase for definitely recording using master stem tracks. Very happy with the progress I've made using this site to promote and distribute my material... Looking forward to more success in 2019.

Hi Tim, Thanks for your review of my vintage song, Country Christians. Not satire at all! It's actually a song I wrote about the little country church my husband has been pastoring for over 26 years. Aunt Glade and Mr. Freddy are actual people. So the song is very real. Anyway, thanks for the review. I appreciate all the thought you put into it. Mrs. Kate

Warren, thanks for the 5 star for my song 24/7/365. One of my favorites, too. Have converted it to use as my ringtone...a bit vain, I know, but totally fits as a ringtone.

Thanks for your reading of "Arms of a Woman", Roy. It's one of my favorites, too.

Hi, Roy. I've been a member of Broadjam for several years and have had a few placements. I was very interested to hear that you were previously with Ensoniq. I still use the same Ensoniq keyboard (a KT76) that I've had for 25 years because I love the feel and the patches, but now of course certain things are breaking on it. There seems to be only one company in the whole country, Syntaur, that has parts, but many are used and defective. Thought it might interest you to know that I've been waiting about a month for a computer tech friend to fix a couple of keys so that I can book a gig or two.
At any rate, thanks for starting Broadjam. I think it's a great thing!

Kari, Thanks for the note. As I read it, I have a smile on my face as Ensoniq was an awesome company and loved by everyone who worked there. I will send and email with a couple of options for you. Thanks for being a member of Broadjam and a customer of Ensoniq. Roy

Hank, Lovin' your songs! seems like we're neck and neck for many opps and contests...Not too far from you up in VT...Maybe we should think about combining our efforts? Let me know...

Hank Thomas posted over 30 days ago

Great idea Tim, I'm always impressed with your stuff!

It all sounds good on paper, then, so far. Now the hard part: the logistics... I'm up in Peacham, VT, not far from St Johnsbury... Where are you?

Hank Thomas posted over 30 days ago

250 miles & 4 hours south, in Plainfield, CT
But hey, There's always the internet, and telephones

Tim Ely posted over 30 days ago

Yes indeed, it is the 21st century after all... Lived in Bloomfield for a couple years, so familiar with CT. You're over near the ice cream place close to Griswold... I'm traveling for the next week, but let's plan to talk when I get back in the area. Sound like a plan?

You bet!
