Tim Ely has been writing songs and playing in various bands for over 20 years. He is currently only performing at "Writer's Nights", a format in which a few songwriters play their own songs for an audience. Songwriting is his main focus these days, and he offers those songs for artists who are looking for material to record. Although he occasionally co-writes with other songwriters and recording artists, he primarily writes the music and lyrics to the majority of his songs by himself.

Happy 2019 to all my friends, fans, and family...2018 was a good year for my songs: 15 selections for various opportunities and 8 licenses sold to artists and producers for rights to possibly record, and one artist purchase for definitely recording using master stem tracks. Very happy with the progress I've made using this site to promote and distribute my material... Looking forward to more success in 2019.

Hi Tim, Thanks for your review of my vintage song, Country Christians. Not satire at all! It's actually a song I wrote about the little country church my husband has been pastoring for over 26 years. Aunt Glade and Mr. Freddy are actual people. So the song is very real. Anyway, thanks for the review. I appreciate all the thought you put into it. Mrs. Kate
