Caroline in wonderland, walk with daddy take me by the hand, through the desert like we used to do, underneath a southern sky so blue, yeah...all my life seems like I've been wastin', precious time Lord, hesitatin', all my life darling, I've been waitin' for you...Caroline in wonderland...(short instrumental break)...Caroline in wonderland, see your footprints dancin' in the sand, and I know your star was shining bright, when I dreamed of you that winter's night...Oh sweet Caroline in wonderland, in this life you'll have to make a stand, with your smile girl you'll come shining through...Caroline in wonderland...(fiddle solo)...all my life seems like I've been wastin', precious time Lord, hesitatin', oh what a child knows! I'm begotten of you...Caroline in wonderland...Oh sweet Caroline, take your momma's love to heart, the good Lord worked a miracle, the sun is always gonna shine again...yeah...sweet Caroline! in wonderland...your love, is takin' me by the hand, your sweet love, keeps takin' me by the hand, love...takin' me by the hand...

There's something musical/lyrical about the name Caroline. This love song uses it to great advantage. Love the clear vocals and female harmonies complementing. Fiddle is really sounding great to me.

Real sweet song about a child of yours I suspect. Vocal is shaky but very real and very proud of this girl. The recording is very tight and clean...I caught it all...I think the highlight is the around the 2:40 mark where the singer had to stretch a bit and brought some exuberance to the song.

very nice music on this country folk song. really liked the backing and the fiddle . the female backing vocal was subtle and gave the song a nice edge,

Love the arrangement. The fiddle with guitar and flute. It seems atypical for Country, but it really works!!

Beautiful easy listening song, swept me off to wonderland. A great unique vocal style reminiscent of the greats like John Hiatt, Randy Newman and James Taylor.
