Hey Marc, I was just listening to your holiday tracks--your versions of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town," "The Christmas Song," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" sound fantastic! You did an amazing job with them. I wanted to reach out with a quick, friendly heads-up regarding the copyright on these specific songs. A lot of musicians (myself included!) naturally assume these classic holiday tracks are in the public domain because they feel so traditional. However, because they were all written in the 1930s and 1940s, they are actually still fully copyrighted under the 95-year rule. None of these three songs will enter the public domain until around 2029 to 2041. Because Broadjam is a platform utilized for licensing and commercial exposure, hosting unlicensed covers can sometimes trigger automatic flags, takedown notices, or compliance issues with their terms of service. If you haven't already, you might want to look into grabbing a mechanical license for them. Services like Easy Song or Harry Fox Agency (HFA) make it pretty quick and inexpensive to clear the rights so you can safely keep your great work up and fully protected. Hi Frank, I lost somewhere in all this fun, a note about Ai....And I can't find it so. the Ai version of your song is way better than the original....... it's a computer and computers don't make mistakes ( sometimes a clitch), but they do read math well ...........and words well..... I spent 40 years on the stage pleading with singers to sing on the beat..... if the drummer is off, that's all your hear is the drummer. Yep I hear what you are saying... literally! I really am finding a "comfort" in treating Suno and ACE like a group of studio musicians that can take the demos that I record and then polish them into commercial/radio-ready productions... and at little to no cost AND they'll do every demo that I sent them!! And I can always download the stems and tweak parts if I so choose (which is what I'm doing now with I Like His Kind of Lovin"). It all good... I enjoy the discovery/learning/growing process, and how to leverage AI in a way where it all adds up for me. ;) Frank

Hey Randal....just a little very wise advice! I've been on this site for more than 24 years!! I only maintain it in sole honor of my brothers memory!! That all! Other than that I literally don't get involved anymore! This site is allowing all this "self proclaimed music producers"..so called managing artists ...all just looking to make money! I know it's a cynical thing to say...but after many years od dealing with this nefarious bullcrap..I have nothing positive to say at all. I'm very surprised as to why the the wizards who run this site allow such encroaching behavior!? Other than perhaps for kick backs!>? Hey ..I wonder!!! Anyway...don't do anything expecting any promises..and especilly for pying out any money at all. I have in the past researched many music sites and honestly there are some real legit sites that if you wish to look in to...you would be in a much better place!! I'm just reaching out to you because I visited my site...and seen this fictitious Wura Digital Servies trying to lure in another potential customer! Hey man, I remember you from the past... Do you have a great talent... Unfortunately... I don't see you going anywhere on the site! Other than the musicians who support each other! FYI... There are so many of these so-called producers... Yeah, there's a lot of truth in what you say. And yeah, I know that this site is not going to sell my music and I have not fell for any of these people who want you to pay them at a bare minimum $150 bucks a month. The reason why I remain on this site is because of all the other musicians that I have met and several of them I have worked with. All I want to do is find out how much they want, that way everyone on this site can see just how costly it is however, most of them do not post their price. I usually have to get that in their emails. And no, I have not put my music with any of them although I have given them my advice. First: they need to do it for free; Second: They need to show you just how many hits they have made for you. Third: Then give you a fair price for what they do and $150 a month is not a fair price unless they can get you a million hits. My two albums are both for sale however, both albums go to charity because I don't need the money. Best wishes Bio.

The two albums I have are collaboration albums one is with George Selsky ( Beyond our Backyards) and the other is with Billy Pilgrim ( This Old Cross). Both are musical genius's however, they also want the money to go to a charity. Best Wishes Bro.

I haven't done too many foolish things for a while and almost took one offer until my better sense took over lol.
Randal....the guy is acomplete scam...even his .com was inactivated! I have law enforcement in the family that hold very high places and can check out anyone and all there is to know! It's amazing! This guy is dead in the water! I have to be honest...this is the major reason why I'm really not involved anymore with this platform!! Broadjam should really consider eliminating these complete pests! It's A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!
