Hi Catnip, Many thanks for your kind review of Going To Church, it's much appreciated. Great to see how well your songs are doing, good luck. Cheers, Bob
Pat, Thanks for the kind review and 5's for "Strange Fruit". Bill
Hello Catnip. Thanks for the review on Recycle Michael. I'm still doin' it. Your friend in music mrs kate
Frank Listened to 4 or 5 while I was working out. Wowwy Wow Wow! We have to talk in the near future! Exciting! catnip=+=
Thanks so much... I've been away for a while with work and family visiting. I'll drop in your page and have listen to more of your stuff... it's been too long. Frank
You're still banging'em out Franklin! I admire your diversity! It's such a great experience having other people in your studio. What are your best two songs you want me to listen to? catnip=+=
That's a tough one... some I like the lyrics best and others I like the music best... I guess I'd have to say that two of my best (favorite) music+lyrics would be "Never Say Never" and "Talk Talk". I'm not sure if you've listened to those yet... but hope you like them. Thanks... and as always be and stay well Catnip! Frank
By the way, another music+lyrics (lyrics that I wrote that is) would be "Try Me". And from just a music standpoint, a few of my "best" (favorite) instrumentals are "Mom's Journey Home", "Sunrise in the City" and actually an old one I did before Pro Tools called "Adam and the Ant". There are others that I really like (like "The Blend" and Moods of Electra"), but these three came up first. Sorry, that's probably more than you wanted to hear about... ;) Have a great one! Frank
Hey Bill! You're real close on this beauty! I feel It needs just a tad of tweaking and it will wind up on the big charts for sure! I always appreciate when someone takes the time to tell me this and it has led to a good song turning into a great song several times! All the Best! catnip=+=
Hello Again Raven! Really enjoyed "Bottle" Believe you have a winner there Son! catnip=+=
Hey thanks so much Pat wow I need more reviews like that. Of course, you may feel free to work this song up, in fact I would be honored. Can't wait to hear what you do with it. Thanks so much my friend. Scott
very nice film for sure good luck to you i think im 4 under you in florida cheers! catnip=+=
Hi Bob, I love your "Remember Last Summer"! Beautiful sentiment and brings memories to so many of us, "the way we were". Hope you and family are all well. I have had a lot of trouble with this site vs Google Chrome. No music files would work, (all of a sudden!), so I've uninstalled it several times, and now on Bing, and was able to bring everything back up. I've been wresting with this for over a week! Hard to believe that we are so close to September, once again, and looking forward to autumn! "Talk" to you later! Cyndi
HI Cyn, Thanks for the comments, and your perseverance! Glad you liked the song. Lots of people have had problems with the BJ site recently. It's very poor and has had major glitches since they modernized it. Keep well Bob
Thanks for the update Bob. I miss the last version of BJ; so much easier to navigate and, less issues!
👍👍
Hey Cyndi, Try moving over to BRAVE browser...it is all I use now....plus, Safari, too... Brave is very good..... Chet Nichols
cyn who? Corkran?
I will try Brave Chet Thanks So Much!!! catnip=+=
Hi Patrick, Yes, Corkran:) Hope all is well with you!
I've been using the Brave browser for a long time now, is far better than most, and less invasive. This Bjam site is still full of problems nonetheless, some I've reported. By far the worst aspect is the mail system. Try following a mail message conversation - the sent folder doesn't even tell you who each message was sent to! Not good.
Hi John--I tried to reply to your comment but it's not working. Thanks for your kind comments and rating on "Until We Meet Again". I appreciate you taking the time to listen; you know how much I love wintry tunes! I started my practice session trying to come up with cute, short tunes for reels and instead came up with this one. I was in a solemn state of mind because my cousin passed away two days ago from a stroke. He was six months younger than myself. I originally named it "Last Goodbye" but I decided no one would listen to it with that sad title.
Hi, Jeana. Broadjam really has messaging problems. You composed a beautiful tribute and a sense of loss in the melody. It's really strange when someone close dies. It feels unreal. It takes a few weeks to get your balance back. "Last Goodbye" is one of those titles with such a finality. Though I remember a very popular song called "The Last Farewell" that oddly sounded like something that could have come from centuries before because of the language it used. We've been giving our cat Meka some different flavors of cat food lately. He loves fish. Now he thinks chicken is blah.
Meka probably won't want to go back to chicken now. :-) Our cat Sebastian would only eat chicken. He hated any of the seafoodvarieties. Our new cat, Toby, likes everything we have ever tried with him, at least so far. He's just turning 5 months old this week and got neutered a few days ago. The heart murmur he had cleared up on its' own, so we are happy about that.
I was just thinking about heart murmurs in cats just the other day! So Happy !! catnip=+=
Hey, Pat. I saw you were on the charts with "Who Owns the Sun" so I listened. Great spontaneity and your usual gift of melody going...and you can sing (I can't) and you can play (I can't...I just use a guitar for writing songs!). Many thanks for the stars for "Just Another Weekend." Coming from you, that is something. I appreciate it! John
This is the WOOLEY BULLY man! Let Me know what movie! P.
Raven! Oh You Got Me On "Werewolf". Really nice chord changes on this a little Hendrix feeling so alive and well in this number! I love and prefer a little looseness in my music to imitate the stage we are usually in when we create it! This will be GOLD! catnip=+=
Hey Pat thanks so much for the feed back and the review and the stars very much appreciated. Since it's a Punk song I thought I should keep it loose and a little ruff just to stay true to the genera. People seem to like it which makes me very happy. All the best to you and keep the music coming.
It Takes a Long time to learn this stuff! Ha Ha! Pat
Steve! You are turning out some hurtful good tunes! i see "Lost Boy-Lost girl" was 2011! After almost 20 years of listening I realize you have the magic formula! This is another great for you my friend! Cheers! catnip=+=
Thanks P. That particular song was licensed to a French Major Motion film. Only English in the movie was from the song. LOL!
Funny! What was the film? P.
Pat, Thanks for reviewing "Scorcher". Yeah, a little different for Bjam. A quick and dirty recording to meet a contest deadline many years ago... Bill
Pat- I appreciate your review and commentary on "We Just Used To Drive".... I have happened to reviewed some of your stuff in recent months and love how your pieces have a character all your own. Friend request accepted.
Thanks Barry! Ive been on here for 19 years and its rare someone with your talent bursts on the scene. Wondering if you are using studios or done in your home studio. We've come so far it's hard to tell anymore! Pat
I have been a member since 2005 but skipped a decade or so as real job and responsibilities take over -- now I am "pre-tired" and back into the studio... I have a humble project studio, actually still using an old-school Korg DAW but have great mics and pre amps... no digital samples or unlimited tracks --- work and bounce among 16 tracks. All instruments and vocals are me, once in a while have a drummer or horn player contribute.. thanks for asking, keep on creating!!!
Warren! That is a really nice song! Our vets never get the gratitude they so deserve! Thanks for this one! catnip=+=
Hi Catnip, Thanks for reviewing Zante Dream, it was for our Greek holiday video some years ago!! Cheers, Bob
Nice One Mr. Don! Didn't know they had blues in Minnesota way up there! Ha ha Just kidding I'm from Detroit! catnip=+=
Hi Sam! Glad to see you are back at it! Didn't you have a vocal issue with Covid but got through it ok? Pat
Thanks, but no Covid issues. I've just kind of "retired" and slowed down, even though I still write and record. Peace, Sam
Thanks for the review of crack a book. Mrs Kate
Hey Marvin! Let Her Go sounds like my band! Love it! Keep Rockin! Cheers! catnip=+=

But we never know in this business dowe? Bob, I've been enjoying your music now for some time--you're an unobserved champion in my book---your time is coming! Trust Me! Your friend from Florida! catnip=+=
