Hey my BJ friend...... Pat, I'm glad you liked "I'll Be You Nurse" I wrote that one , sung by a vocalist in South Africa, Aireal ..... If you would do me a solid with your well trained ears and give me a score on a new one we just finished. "Well, I Have" written by BJ member Allison Bolton and sung by Mollie B from Germany.... Thanks in advance..https://www.broadjam.com/s ongs/skyhighmusiclabs/well-i-have-x x-molly-b-22

Congrats on your tv placements Warren! Nice Win! Nice to get a bite of the good stuff! England is tops! Very cool! For some reason my stuff has gone well over there since 1993! Yesterday I got a text from "Hampus" in London! He found my old record from the Crybaby band in 1976 and wants to play it on his radio show in London! Ha! Wonders never cease! All the Finest! catnip=+=
Many thanks Pat and congrats to you as well! Wonders never cease! Cheers Warren
Enjoyed Happy Man went back and read the lyrics! Great! catnip =+=
Had a good one this week! Hampus from London came across my old record "My Head's in a Good Place" from my old Crybaby Band and wants a copy to give to his DJ friends and play it on his radio show! London! Ha! Google it!
Great news Pat.
Hey Pat thanks for the positive and very useful review of "I can play the blues forever" I keep hearing a great blues harp in this one but lack the skills to do it myself but that just might be the break that you were talking about. Thanks again and keep on jammin my friend. Scott
Thanks Scott! It's great that we musicians can offer a different angle on some things. I've been blissfully helped by things I've learned by others that have helped my music prosper. This is one of the best things about BJ and continues to one of the coolest adventures around! Take care and Let the Music flow like a River! catnip=+=
Another good one on Future Generations! Love the Sound effects at beginning and end! Sweet! Keep Crankin Bro! catnip=+=
Hey Thanx Pat..."Happy New YEAR" to you & family! I was getting worried about you! I sent you an email on 12-06-24...and saw you haven't read it yet!? Maybe you don't use the email!? Anyway...I sent it giving you a thank you on another BG tune! I think it's important that you know BroGreede came to an immediate halt when my brother passed in 2001. 6 years later my other bandmate passed as well. A real double whammy which rocked my world! There's only 3 reasons I remain on Bjam: to keep the memory of my brother and other band mate alive, listen to music & appreciate all the talent and to make a few friends along the way. I'm carrying the torch you would say! I'm not on Bjam for any other reason! Amen! My brother put us on Bjam in 2001...now going on 24 years!! I continue on in my own way. I have a drummer now who has joined me and I'm hoping to get back to some recording of tunes I've had on the back burner for many many years! Probably go in some different directions from BroGreede! Wish us some luck. Thanx for listening-that's all that matters to me!! Wishing you continued musical success-put more of your music on the review que-so I can give you some nice grades!! Tony Z
Hey Pat...you listened to BG's "Annabelle"....the offbeat you are referencing especially in the intro is a progressive meter. (10)..which I would'nt think you would be familiar. 4/4 meter is very basic in most music especially of the past and definitely not in the progressive genre. Most Rock is written in common time and is predictable and gets boring! I love playing in odd meters because it can be challenging, takes a special ear and skill and can add flavor & attitude in progressive music!! Thanx for giving a listen!! TZ
Sorry Pat I made a big mistake...my brother passed in 2011-not 2001!.Sorry!! TZ
Hi Marvin! Thx for the high scores on "Gunther" I did that in Memphis, Tennessee with two guitar players from Black Oak Arkansas a while back. I was 26 at the time and had to borrow the money to go to Memphis but it paid off in spades! ps have enjoyed your stuff for a long time! Happy Chestnuts! catnip=+=
Happy Holidays from From Florida Marvin! You're always surprising me with your tunes! catnip=+=

Hi Ron! Long time no see! My wife and I just got back from Jaimaca on a 7 day cruise and I've decided to spend 1/3 of my year playing on a cruise ship! What could be more fun? I've always admired you and loved that your early videos showed some of those scenes. Got any tips for the catnip? catnip=+=
Hi Pat, first of all, what kind of venue would you wish to play on a ship and what other musician, if any, would be in the group?
Hi Frank! mambo good song but needs a little vocal attention a little surprized that you-the master- would miss this! just my opinion either eq or just pull the vocal up in the mix LOVE BOSSA as you can tell if you know my music! catnip=+=
Thanks catnip! Yeah that's a pretty old one... really early on in my Pro Tools days. II recorded that one so long ago that I don't even have the session files anymore. Sans re-recording it from scratch, I'll see what I can do with the stereo mix... maybe some eq-ing and/or postproduction might help. Thanks for the honest/helpful feedback too! Frank
Some great stufff M! Sorry you didnt take 1st place but you will though! After knowing you since 2007-17 years! I realize you have the right stuff! im doing great too! My interview with Psychedelic Magazine comes out in a few days! I'll post it on BJ! later catnip=+=
Hello Chet! See you are doing fine now! Was worried about your voice! Keep on Truckin! catnip=+=
Thanks for the review catnip Mrs Kate
Hey Ante! Like the new logo Devil sounds great Dig the lady's voice Very Cool! Great to see youre still pressing on as usual! Keep On Truckin! catnip=+=
Pat' you the man! Thank you very much for noticing and commenting. You didn't have too, but you did and that is very much appreciated brotha. Thank you! Yah Pat, music is an integral part of my life and a major player to a healthy state of being. I started at 9 and I just turned 52 in April. I have been in a band of some sort every year since 17 to this day. As long as it doesn't become boring and I still feel inspired to write, record and play music with people I will continue to do it until I physically can't anymore.
Your song Bad Moves made think of a song my wife and her brother wrote and recorded when she was 12 years old! They are both singing on this. I made the slideshow for it! They wrote many songs together but her brother Dan Hartman wrote a lot of hits for a lot of top artist. The song is called Bad Movies! https://www.facebook.com/1000741411 96370/videos/943874296279287
you crazy guys! you guys drive me crazy with your good music! pat
Hey catnip thanks for the review of thought life victory song! You are always so encouraging! Mrs Kate
Patrick, you just reviewed our song, "I ain't No Van Gogh" and gave it pretty high Marks! Thanks for the positive comments Sir!! Maybe someday we can reconnect on Broad Jam again and be Broad Jam Buddies, we once were, back in the early days 2014,15,16.....then ZIP!! Poof!! The Corey's...........
Happy to reconnect anytime Marge & Corey. I'm running a plumbing business, a solar business, and performing all while still recording in "Capt. Nemo's Underwater Studio!" So my chat time is limited but please don't think I do not appreciate all my Broadjam buddies and their fabulous compositions! At 75, I am planning on cutting back on the work work and spending more time on my music work which highlights my joy and raises my spirit don't you know! catnip=+=
