Dave, Thanks for taking the time to review "Tortured Trumpets". Your comments and advice are very helpful.

Hi Dave - thanks for the exceptional review of my anthemic rock piece (edited instrumental version of "What About My Reward"). I appreciate the time you took, even mentioning the timing change! That was done with just 2 players, a drummer and a multi-guitarist/bassist. Written in 1972 it only took me a little over 40 years to get into the studio and breathe life into it.

Dave, thank you ever so much for your spot on review of' "Chicken".. This is an old recording.. around 1990..Yep, it would need a complete redo!!Your professional review is much appreciated.. Ron

Dave thank you so much for your kind review of Strychnine. By far my favorite review to date. I like the old cliché of Less is More. It doesn't work for everything of course but I feel that a lot of music nowadays is way over produced. There is something to be said about space that appeals to my ears. Thank you very much for hearing that man. Best to you
Ante

Dave, thank you fo a very good and thorough review of "He Doesn't Know." I very much like your suggestion to cut down the guitar volume at 2:03. It would help bring in that build up I try to achieve as the song progresses. You have great versatility and craftsmanship!

Hey John, that's awesome that my suggestion worked out for you... thank you. In the recording, editing and mixing process, listen to your music very closely, in a quiet setting, and try to take 'yourself' out of the driver's seat and become an un-invested observer. Glad I could help, good luck out there... I'm gonna take another listen, thanks for the message.

Thanks Dave for your spot on review of "Paper Moon" which was recorded in the late 90's...

Jeff Fong played all the brass as well as the keyboards.. Pam Homzey, Jeff's better half, played all the sax parts.. Erin, their daughter played the flute on 'fly me to the Moon".. That left me left me do the vocals...
Where were you when we could have used you to do the drum tracks!!lol

Again many thanks. Keep safe and well,
Ron

Hi Dave, Thanks for your great review of my song "Rescue ME". The feedback is excellent and very helpful. This is an old mix of the song and I have remixed it a couple of times since. Completely agree with your observations and suggestions.

Tommy

Hi Dave. Thx for kind review of FB Addict. I appreciate the feedback also. The version you reviewed was performed by a very good musician and his band mates. The folk version is also on Broadjam with slightly different lyrics in the bridge. You might enjoy hearing that for comparison. It is performed by me and I am a better writer than performer but oh well. Take care. I am originally from Northridge. I notice you are in LA

Hi Dave, Thank You for the review on "Benandonner" It's much appreciated!

Thanks for the nice review... give a week, I'll make the suggested changes....

You rock! Best of luck and you are going places with this open mind of yours.

Dave, Thank you for the great review of "Cruel War" My producer loves to get feed back....until my songs are put to a cd the last go over is checked and the last mastering is done. So for the most part my songs are put up to get feed back like you gave...I am glad you liked the over all song...in music Delta

Hi Dave. Thank you so much for your review of my song Today. So glad you liked it!! Sending much love and good vibes your way. Stay safe. kj

Thanks for the excellent review of my rock instrumental, Dave! You're 100% right, it's the backing to a Yes-like vocal track called "Tonight's The Night" and also right about the drums. Being on a shoestring budget, this was all done in 1-2 takes (including all vocal harmonies) but overall I'm still proud of the result. Recorded at age 66 on a Social Security income -- what can I say?

Cheers Dave and thanx for your spot on review of Arabian Rockstar. The sitar was a sample my producer found on this older composition (8 years?) and you are correct! Thanx for the good words I may have it reworked someday. Glad you didn't mention the drum program as that needed to be brighter!
Peace, Warren

Dave! Magnetic has got it! Nice work Son! Catnip

Thanks Dave for the review of "Greensleeves". It was just a fun piece and I also love the melody. Glad you didn't think I butchered it, lol Felice Kaye-Cooper

Hello my friend Dave. Thanks for the review of Porch Swing. I wrote it in honor of my late neighbor, Mary Sauls, who passed away at age 97. She was the porch swing lady. We ended up building a house and named it porch swing place. There's more to the story. It's a song I always perform at my senior shows. I ask if there's a cat lover in the audience and let her hold the cat. When she holds it up at the mention if cat, all the seniors meow. It's fun and funny. So glad you liked my song and you are right, percussion would help. Your friend, Mrs Kate

Thanks for the red-hot review of my blues jam, Dave! It's the edited instrumental version of Blues Conversation (full vocal track). Glad you liked it!
