Hello my friend Dave. Thanks for the review of Porch Swing. I wrote it in honor of my late neighbor, Mary Sauls, who passed away at age 97. She was the porch swing lady. We ended up building a house and named it porch swing place. There's more to the story. It's a song I always perform at my senior shows. I ask if there's a cat lover in the audience and let her hold the cat. When she holds it up at the mention if cat, all the seniors meow. It's fun and funny. So glad you liked my song and you are right, percussion would help. Your friend, Mrs Kate
