This is perhaps the finest piece I have reviewed thus far. Very tasteful, thoughtful, serene, wants for nothing.
-- I thank you --
Another beautiful instrumental that builds nicely. Nice job on the keys and the strings bed. Nicely put together and mixed. Contemplative, evokes a sense of wondering, desire and loss. The artist knows how to speak with her (?) fingers telling a story. She's really good at this!
Harold Budd, the composer of beautiful pensive wintry tunes, would have loved this. The somber gently lilting melody flows in minor keys. Several lonely but contemplative memories come through while listening to this...frosted snowy landscapes in the desert, or looking out the window at a quiet neighborhood street wondering what would have happened if... The background orchestration is fitted beautifully with finesse and compliments the piano. It beckons you to listen to it again...maybe in part because it's hard to let go of those feelings that you're trying to understand...but mostly because it is a beautiful piece.
Beautiful and dark orchestral soundtrack piece!
