Born and raised in New Brunswick, one of the four maritime provinces on the eastern coast of Canada, Keith has been residing in Quebec since 1981. He started out his musical career as a guitarist but soon switched to bass which became his main instrument. He still plays guitar occasionally and also a bit of keyboards. His earliest musical influences were the country music albums that his father, Ernest, used to play. Later in his teenager years came rock'n'roll which really made him want to play a musical instrument. Keith's songs reflect his outlook on a diverse range of subjects but focus mainly on love in its many forms. He and co-writing partner, his brother Paul, have been cooperating in writing songs for quite a few years now.
