I have admired Scott's talent since I first heard his Batman theme to the 1989 mini-series, "The Untold Legend of the Batman", to this very day the catchiest and one of THE best Batman themes ever written and performed.

Hey Samantha,
Was listening to some of your tracks -- I really enjoy your singing. Your exceptional phrasing - it really adds beautiful breadth and color to your melodies... reminds me of the amazing Karen Carpenter, but still all your own. Glad to have found you - Refreshing:))
Best to you, Scott Tom Canfield

Hello Scott....thankyou very much for this comment...it's nice to know that somewhere out there someone likes my music! It's funny but you are the second person in the last week or so to say I remind them of Karen Carpenter......someone I think was a truly incredible performer and I could only hope to be half as good! Thanks again Scott and I enjoyed your music too.....wishing all the best:) Sam

Hi Sylvia--
Just wanted to say thank you for your positive remarks on "Northern Lights"... Luv your work - I especially appreciate the womans' perspective in your lyrics -- unambiguously raw and relative. I'll be listening...

Hello Matt- you're welcome.. also, your instrumentation score should have been 5/5.. I inadvertently clicked 3/5. so very sorry -- i should've been more careful. And, if you're happy w/your lyrics please don't change a word... I just thought the 'make-up' & 'toothbrush' stuff was improvable - but it's subjective. Bottom line:it is a great track, a genuine British Beauty. I would very much like to record it myself someday soon. Best to you, Scott

Hi Scott, Thanks for your excellent review of "Soul Sync", your suggestions were outstanding! I am a drummer and my melodic knowledge is well... limited. I love your ideas of the major and minor 9's and 11's, just wish I was savvy enough to lay it down. Maybe we should collab on something, my groove & your chord structure. Thanks again for the very fair and insightful review. Dave - CenterPeace

Hey Robert-
I went back to visit your photography site and didn't realize there were so many more masterpieces in your gallery! It's like going on a classy acid trip, if there is such a thing! High end spectacular images. Great work. I hope you make lots of money selling prints- better shot at that than with music these days, lol. But you should be able to get your hooky tracks into film easily if you haven't already.

Thanks again, Susan. I hope I make lots of money too, so I can spend 10 hours a day practicing my guitar. On those photos; I like to think of it as a sophisticated, elegant acid trip, but I'll take "classy." I really appreciate the boost, as I'm thinking about marketing.

Simona - I really appreciate what you said and how you phrased it. I'm just passing from my "just having fun with it" phase to my learning the technical aspects and using the right equipment phase. So I hope to make more, and better images as time goes on. Thanks for the encouragement along the way.

Scott - I hope I do, and you do, and we all make a lot of money this year, but... as trite as it sounds, I have to say that most of us here are already extremely lucky to have a passion for what we do (making music). There's a lot of talk about licensing opportunities and making it in the music world, but doing what you love, even if you never make a penny at it is one of the most profoundly fulfilling aspects of life. We already ARE the lucky ones.

Susan - Thank you again for taking the interest to check my work out, and posting as you did. So very kind.

Exactly, we are the lucky ones. It's really a privilege to be able to give time to any form of art that we're passionate about! That's food for the soul and it's free (oh well, not entirely, if I think about all the software and hardware I bought for recording my music :))!

Hi Scott, many thanks for your gracious review of 'Gonna make you mine', I need a finer mix of the thing and was playing aroung with a trial version of auto-tune when this was recorded, there are lots of things I am not happy with but it is good to get 3rd party peer opinions that are valuable to me. by, the way I liked you songs also, your voice stands out with them and your vox harmonies are spot on, got a maroon 5 vibe from ' a beat she can dance to'.

Kind regards, Dave

Thanks so much for taking the time to review and comment on our track "Medieval Carol in Baraque." This track is part of a larger volume of work, our concept album "revamping" historical Holiday music - a fusion of period instruments with modern World beats and Electronica synths. I would agree, often the classical period instruments are the better in the mix!
