Y'all are too kind! Thank you so much for all the love! Sending it back your way, as well! "️And ya I can't wait to pitch it for car commercials hahaha

Katilyn, you have nailed Joan Jet with your tune!! However, It may be too spicy for a regular T.V. Car commercial??
You might see if Joan would consider singing your tune??
Again, it's really quite catchy!!
Toodles, Stay Safe, Wear a Mask still, the variants are still out and about!!

Hi thank you for the compliment on my voice! Your song is beautiful! You have a higher range in your chest voice than I do, so I think your song sounds fantastic with you singing it :)

Shadow Creek posted over 30 days ago

That is my cowriter singing it, we are pitching this song, so far no luck, Kelly Clarkson was who we hoped would do this song, so when I heard your voice it moved me to contact you, Im thinking a female voice would be better. thanks

Hey Katilyn, I see you reviewed my version of Cher's "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" It is a cover song for a cd I am working on....it seems you find a lot of songs dated and yes I would say it is dated, it is a song I have liked since it first came on the air waves...what is great about music is you can make any song your own as long as you pay the man...I have done very little of my own songs because others are better at it then I and I play no instruments...My producer has worked around The Who. the Animals Rick Tyler in his day...I have given a listen to some of your songs when they all had 0 plays in front, so it shows you are a newbie so welcome to BJ and what a tough town to be a rocker....but good luck on your journey in BJ....in music... Hey Delta! Yes, I think music (like fashion), is cyclical, anyway, so dated songs will make a comeback and likely soon! I don't remember exactly what I said in my review, but don't change your sound or who you are for anyone! Our authenticity is the best gift we can give anyone. And thank you for the warm welcome! You are right it is tough to be a rocker in this country music town...we'll see where I migrate to, lol. Have a great day!

Your welcome to listen to any of my songs on my list... I am basically a Celtic and Folk singer...today I will be sending a Maundy Thursday song so I will connect to you so you can hear it...soloed in church and there will be a cd of church music I am half finished...5 cds in the works but have been unable to get to the studio to work on them with covid...Had a cabin in Byrdstown Tenn just sold it...tornados ripping up parts of Tenn...stay safe

HI Katilyn Love your songs great voice !!!

Hi Katilyn! Thank you for your brutally honest review of my song THE SMALLEST PART. You are absolutely correct...it is dated by contemporary Country standards. Not even one of my best songs honestly. But thank you for the nice words on my vocals. I'd love to share some of my more recent work with you...rockin' blues/americana/etc. I loved your song BE COMING. That's right on target. All the best to you.

Dear Katilyn, you just reviewed our tune, "Too Hep For The Room" and you were a tad bit tough!! You said that the word "HEP" is dated, do you still feel that way?? We just heard that word on the Nightly News! I believe it was on MSNBC last week!! That seems relevant, if it was said last week..........

WE feel that our music is rather original, but everyone has their own Musical Style and likes in Music!!!

We listened to your music and it is quite good, along with your vocals!! However, your music sounds a lot like Pat Benitar, so do you feel your music is dated.....??
Pat Benitar has been around for over thirty years???

Hey! Happy to connect! I believe I said "too dated to be considered pop music" rather than "too dated" in general, right? I can't remember...but regardless, that's what I meant! Just that it could be classified as a different genre. And in that vein...I don't classify my rock songs as pop, for that reason...I have a retro sound in my rock songs and am not trying to pass as pop ;) thank you for the compliment on my voice and hair! I fully agree with you that we all have our own unique sound and don't need to change it, because there's a place for all of us.

And for what it's worth...google the word "hep", and you'll see what I meant.

Margie & Art Corey posted over 30 days ago

Dear Katilyn.........Will do..........regarding the word "Hep"!

Great to become Broad Jam members!!
Our Wonderful Sax player on probably 30 songs, was playing with Billy Vera & The Beaters. The Beaters had a Number # Song in the 80's and Jerry was playing with them on Johnny Carson's show some 13 times in one year!! Jerry recently passed away from Covid Virus.what a Pisser!!!

I'll google the word "hep", and you'll see what I meant.
Connect.
Stay safe & Wear a Mask.
