BroGreede, thank you for the stars. Very generous of you man! Thank u!!! Ante N
Hey Ante,..thanks for the "Living For The Moment" Stars,..very generous! Cheers TK
Of course! A good song deserves to be recognized. Ante
David thanks for the review of that moody instrumental. That was the first instrumental I ever wrote way back in the 90's on a Tascam 4 track cassette porta studio. Have you ever used one of those?
I think i've had a similar toy from Fostex, the concept of home recording has changed a lot since ! At some point i've switched to an Amiga 500 and Soundtracker which was handy and a lot of fun. Now I feel old ðŸ'
Arden thank you for the short but sweet review of an old tune recorded initially in 1998 but recently re-recorded in 2020 and finally finished with the recording of it just a couple of weeks ago. Still need to mix/master it but it is finally nearing completion. I am very happy that you liked the rough mix of it. Thanks again Arden Best Ante
Of course. Thanks for sharing
Bill much thx for the kind review of my song Set me Free. thank u so much man! Ante
Banzai's thank you for the 5 stars for my songs Kessel Run and Eye in the sky. Ante
Hey, Bruce B...Magical Twilight is one of the best songs on BJ!! Awesome!! malin and vernon BanzaiWag
David Thank you for the kind review of an old song from an old now no longer existing band of mine called COSTIN. A band that had a ton of musical chemistry and potential. Unfortunately, musical chemistry and potential isn't the only ingredient that is needed to keep a band functioning in a healthy way. Lol!!! Fortunately, one thing that did remain are the songs. Thanks again David I am going to listen to your tracks right now!!! Ante
Thanks for your response Ante. I have been away from the "social" side of the music for a while and am working my way back into it. It is hard keeping a band together, especially if it is struggling or there are different expectations or goals. Working with other creative people is hard but it can also be an amazing experience. I have been in various bands through the years as well as doing the solo thing and it is definitely easier as a solo artist in a way. You either do it or you don't, no one else to blame or have to try and motivate. I hope you are still making music, let me know if you have any more current repertoire I can check out.
David your keen ability to listen to a track then think about what you just heard and put it into a couple of intelligible sentences is an art form in itself and is much needed on Broadjam as I'm sure you've already know. Thx again David Ante
Well when it's good, it's good !
thank u man!!
Whats up David. Just wanted to say thx for the kind reviews you gave. Much appreciated man. Thx Ante
Hi Ante, Thanks for your kind review of Ireland's Eye, your comments are much appreciated. Cheers, Bob
Hi David. From your mouth to Tarantino's ears at light speed!!! Thank you for the great review of my spaghetti western Morricone inspired track. Much appreciated man!!! Thx Ante
Arden Wow I have not heard the name Fungus Amongus in years and the fact that you threw in 311 as well just made my lunchtime hour that much better. Thx again man Best Ante N.
Ante....this is Vicki Johnson, and I tried several times to respond to you in the comments, but it would not submit. I am trying here. Thank you so much for your sentiments towards me, and it was a pleasure to enjoy your song Set Me Free. I appreciate you wanting to listen to my material as well. Glad we are connected now...Vicki J
Hi, Ante. Accidentally posted a long comment meant for you in a thread just below begun by Jim. John
John, Do you know how long I have been trying to get the right people to listen to the songs I have wrote and co-wrote. And I am still trying too to this day. It is very frustrating and discouraging trying to get strangers to listen. Even with the best pitch, email, subject line etc... Unless it is coming from a somebody that door is shut. I can't tell you how many emails I have gotten that said "Sorry but we are not accepting unsolicited material at the moment". Become a somebody then we can talk! Lol I added the last bit!... It is a tough nut to crack. But I am a tough nut to break as well and i don't give up easily especially when I get reviews like the one you gave today. Thanks again man Ante N
Wow man! John I don't think I have ever gotten a review that described one of my songs as " a potpourri of sound". What a fragrant review I must say. Thank you very much John! Ante N
Vicki, you are the best. Thank you for the kind words and great review of my funky blues rocker Set me Free. I am going to listen to your songs as soon as I'm done here. I have a feeling there are going to be some gems there. Ante N
Ante...I wrote you back...but my replies on the comment board are working now! You are an amazing artist...just wanted to tell you that...Vicki J
Thank you very much Vicki. You are too kind. I am listening to your song 'Magic' as I write this to you. I am really digging it. Toes are tapping, head is bobbing. Need I say more!!!! :-) Ante
Thank you Ante!! Glad you like Magic! I like your Song ZZ!! It's fire...smile I am soon to have a new song released, and it is Nine Inch Nails meets John Mayer! LOL My Producer/Co-Writer on the Country Rock side made a Classically Trained Vocalist sound incredible. I would like your opinion...Pop Experimental maybe? Not sure what genre to claim? smile
I like the idea of it already. Those 2 styles couldn't be further apart from one another. It will be interesting to hear how your friend made it work. Looking forward to hearing it Vicky. Pop experimental could be the way to go. Nine inch nails were more on the industrial side from what I remember and John Mayer has switched over to guitar pop or maybe even soft rock at times. Is there such a thing as Industrial Pop? Lol Ante
Yes! Those styles are night and day, but I have heard the baseline and some of the instrumentals, and it is hitting hard. I will certainly share it with you for your great ear to it! Thank you for wanting to listen....Smile Vicki
Of course. Looking forward to it. ante
Ravensong, you are the man! Thank you for the kind review of my song "Kessel Run". That was my attempt at writing/recording a prog-rock tune. I'm a very happy that you liked it. Thanks again man! Best Ante N.
Hey Ante great music deserves a great response. Very well done, thanks for sharing and play on.
Steve you are the man! Thank you for the kind review of a song (Better Days) from a band that should have done more than they did. A spot on example of what could happen when there are too many chefs in the kitchen!! What a shame because the other songs we wrote were worthy as well! Thx again Steve. I am gonna take a listen to your tunes. Ante N.
Hi Mannis. Thank you for the stars and kind words/friend request. Much appreciated man. I just listened to a handful of your tunes and really liked Someday and Autumn Leaves. Cool stuff man. Keep em coming!!! Ante N.
Jeana you are the best. Much thanks for the stars u gave my songs iLL Will & Downtown Trish. Two of my newest songs. So happy to see that people are digging them. Thx again and best to you! Ante N.
You are too kind my friend. Thank you very much for the killer review of my song "Bad Dream". It is truly appreciated man! Thanks again. I am gonna listen to your tracks right now. Ante N
No worries bro I totally dug your tracks...
Ravensong, thank you for the kind words and review of my song Trying to reach the ground. Thank u so much man!! Ante N
You're very welcome Ante great song! I really enjoyed it. All the best. Ravensong/Scott
Steve, you're the man! Thx for the 5 ***** review of my little rocker "Sick Boy!!! Much appreciated. I listened to several of your tracks and I can hear why they have been getting licensed as much as they have. Very nice!! Ante
David. Thank you for the kind words and review of my instrumental cue "Zero". It is very much appreciated!! Just prior to writing and recording it I was introduced to Tame Impala by way of the "Currents" album. I don't know if you have heard that album but to me it is a master class in how to make synths and electric guitar gel together really well so it kind of inspired a little bit of the production on my song Zero. I am happy how it came out!!
Hi Keystone Thank you very much for the great review of an old song I recorded with my former band Costin. It's a shame we aren't together any more but at least the music is still around. I've been trying to get it to the rite people and maybe get the songs re-recorded by another artist or band but that has been easier said than done for sure. Thx again Keystone Best to you Ante/Costin
Keram Thank you for the constructive review of my song ZZ. Its not often that a reviewer will take the time to listen and think about what they heard and then put it into cohesive sentences, lol! Thank u once again! Ante
Steve Thanks for the nice review of my song Sick Boy Much appreciated Ante
Frank Thank you again for your kind words. I always wondered whether or not i was putting the song in the appropriate genre. I also thought prog rock was a bit much for that song. You mentioned Unique-Soundtrack would be more appropriate for it. I agree!! Thx Frank Ante
You're very welcome Ante. Glad to help. I had a Soundtrack tune that for some crazy reason (user error on my part... wink wink) was categorized as "Blues - Chicago" or one of those Blues subcategorizes. It was nowhere remotely close to being a Blues song! Fortunately, a reviewer kindly pointed that out to me so that I could correct it. Yep.. feedback is a gift. Anyway... have a great one and keep writing/recording great stuff! Be and stay well, Frank
Oh feedback is priceless man. Especially when you get it from someone who knows how to give it. Definitely priceless! Thanks again Frank Ante
Hi Donny Thank you for the kind review of my instrumental track Hometown. I like the brevity of your review. Thx again! Best Ante
Ante, I was quite impressed.
