Darius - really like Eternal Sorrow. Sounds like a film sound track to me. If you can make it just a little longer, maybe another minute or so, it might be a good fit for one. Nice work !

ooohhhh, i get it, but honestly? i'd ask Julia Schmidt to sing it, from what i understand, many artist like to hear the actual lyrics and singing, most can imagine themselves singing it perhaps better that way...anyway, i might be wrong...all the best, Warren
Yes, I know, you are definitely right! :) It is hard, though, because I would have to get both a male and female singer, plus a rapper to get a good representation of the vocal parts. I have been thinking about it, but I am not really sure yet. I have a very limited budget so I haven't tried to get any singers.

Hi Darius, First of all, thanks fro the very positive and thorough review of my composition, "Gibraltar Bridge", which comes from my CD, "Earthways". The inspiration and concept for this song came from the idea of Gibraltar being the in-and-out access point between Europe and Africa. So, there is a blend of instruments and tonalities that you picked up on that help to create the sonic aspects of the blending of these two continents and cultures. The concept behind "Earthways" is to depict various routes and highways I have traveled during my travels as a touring singer-songwriter and film maker. But, another important aspect of this collection of songs is that as a whole, the CD is a meditation and healing CD. Embedded under the music are subliminal healing tones designed to relax and heal the listener. Put on some good studio headphones and listen to the CD from start to finish and you will experience it first hand. The songs ARE longer for the purpose of helping to lull the listener deeper into relaxed states. So, there is a fair amount of repetition and the songs are longer. I created these compositions to help a couple of my friends who were going thru chemo and dialysis. "Earthways", the CD, is the follow-up CD to the similarly concepted and produced CD, "Red Mesa Sunset". Anyway, that is a bit of back story that I wanted to share since you were so nice to write a detailed review. Best to you, Chet Nichols
