Hi Penny,

I forgot to mention something you might already be aware of. I sent an email to my local Country Radio station and asked the program director if they would consider playing a song from a local guy on their radio show. It's a regional station that plays in North Central Washington Parts of Idaho & Montana. Anyhow, I thought I'd give it a shot. I attached the song " I Must Have Kissed An Angel "

To my surprise about two weeks later he actually replied. Said he really enjoyed the song and that he would put it on in random rotation. Holy Cow!! There was a scene in the movie "That Thing You Do" where the band is running through the streets screaming cause their song is playing on the radio for the first time. I might have had that same experience only problem was that was in an other state when they played it.

About two weeks after that I emailed him another song "Like a Fool I Say" Once again he emailed me back and said he liked it and would also put that one into rotation. And again I didn't get to hear myself on the radio. I let people in Washington know that my song was in rotation. He asked if I would be interested in coming to the station and go on air to talk about my music. Unfortunately I was going to be in California for 6 months. Couldn't do it.

Oh yeah the point is that with " Like A Fool I Say" he told me that he would have to do an edit to bring it in at 3:30. He explained that radio stations are allowed 3:30 here and there throughout the day for "Public Service Announcements" and that music from local artists fell under the PSA rule. Who knew?

I think it's the local artist thing that maybe struck a chord with the program director. And although it's likely to be as close as I'll get to be playing along side today's country music greats It was a fun experience to be played before or after them if even for just a few days.

Carrie Underwood ** * Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods *** Rascal Flatts ...... how cool is that?

You have such an eclectic collection of compositions that I'm sure one or more of your local stations might want to put them on the air. You should be on the air!

Best of Luck............................... ............... kenney
