Shakila fulfilled her dream of becoming a professional singer in 1990, by releasing her first persian major hit album.

Her exceptional interest in Rumi's poem has inspired her to sing many of his masterpieces in the most heart touching way, and many believe that Rumi's poems and Shakila's angelic voice deeply match and well reflect her beliefs and true love for God.

She has also become the main featured artist in Operatica-Shine and has contributed two haunting world pieces to the album.
