Adding to the beauty of Rumi's words is almost impossible, but you have managed it Shakila, both vocally and musically. May you help more listeners gain awareness of Rumi's works through your music.....starting with City of Love!

Like the song, good concept, to my ears feels a bit tempo rushed, but over all awesome

Hi Shakira (Art)n. Yes the tempo is quite fast.... our buddy Iraj recorded percussion tracks for me long ago and this song is a result of those sessions. There was nothing I could do about the speed, his tracks were the first things on this song so it set the tone for the entire song. Thanks for your spot on feedback. ;^)

Hi Shakila, congratulations on your new release! I wish you all the best!! Wanted to let you know that I re-recorded the drums and worked on the mix for my song "Medieval Games" and it sounds a lot cleaner and not so busy now. I think that is what was causing you to hear the song as "tempo rushed" which was a good analysis. I couldn't slow the song down but I did clean it up and have a drum track now that is not so busy and has a loot of good interplay and dynamics. Hope all is well with you guys and I hope to play with you again soon. David
