Over the past few months, an underground movement of musicians in Chicago has united thousands of artists from over fifty countries to start a new radio station on the Internet at www.imradio.com. Any artist in the world can upload original songs for free airplay on IMRadio. Because it is open source radio, the station has attracted an audience and received much recognition from music industry scouts. Recently, seven independent artists signed contracts with two major promoters in New York and London because of IMRadio exposure.
