Judy Pancoast Bio

As a teenager in the 1970's, Judy Pancoast was not one of the cool kids. She was listening to the Archies, the Partridge Family and Casey Kasem's American Top 40 when all the other kids were into Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden.
Fast forward to Judy as a mom, playing her old records for her kids. They dance, they sing, they ask for "Heartbeat, It's a Lovebeat" over and over again. Voila! Judy Pancoast's unique blend of kid-centered lyrics and melodic retro-pop music is born.
Today Judy has written and recorded four CDs of original music for children and families and a best-selling Christmas CD with a title song that is fast becoming a seasonal hit. She tours regularly throughout the United States and has won the "Best Song for Young Children" award from the Children's Music Web three times. Her little fans go absolutely wild at her concerts and can't wait to meet her after the show. And she's still happy to be among the un-cool and the un-hip, making good-time music that kids just love.
