Info
I've been playing guitar and writing songs since 1968. I draw on life experience for topics of my songs. I write what I feel in my heart. There was a time as a child when I lived on a farm. We were dirt poor. Consequently, by the time I was 12, I was doing a grown man's work and going to school. After high school I went in the Seabees and built (mostly) timber bridges in Viet Nam. I was there for a few years. For the past 35 years I have spent my life trying to help and protect those that can't take care of themselves. I've seen everything there is to see at least once and some things too many times. People can intentionally do some pretty mean things to each other..but they can also do wonderful things when they are so inclined. Most of my songs are not that upbeat. Most of what I've lived and seen hasn't been either. Even with the ups and downs I have had a great life. I live in a wonderland of mountains, water falls, wildlife, and yes, nearby are a herd of buffalo...
