Hey Greg! Thanks so much for checking out NFMN! I like the music too, it was just never mastered so the organ and other instruments are out of balance, we had wanted a band to do the whole trilogy, or maybe different bands for each song...So many resources available, between production singers, desired videos even... we all need to win the lottery!!! Thanks so much for your support, it means a lot!

*only so many resources available! ;0)

It is a really cool song! I think the right vocalist would go a long way. I'll keep checking out more of your stuff. Take care. Greg

Susan Witzel posted 4 days ago

Thanks so much Greg- I will enjoy doing the same with your music!

Greg Johnson posted 2 days ago

Susan, just listened to Johny's 29th Birthday....WOW.....a very gripping song and a story so well told!! I like the feel of the arrangement, and the siren/broadcast. REALLY GREAT STUFF!! Take care. Greg

Susan Witzel posted 2 days ago

Hey Greg, thank you so much for checking out my full trilogy- that is the writing that was most meaningful me at the time I'd lived it and what I put the most effort into of all my songs. I appreciate your support. I will be back to check out more of your catalog in near future, in the meantime just trying to stay cool riding out this delightful heatwave that just started yesterday...Hope it's cooler in California!

Saw you added I Am Not. Thanks so much. This is a better version of the song though. Remastered and a lot of the music changed..https://www.broadjam.com/s ongs/3mindblight/i-am-not-remix

Really liked it! Great sound! How do you like to be addressed, 3MInd? ;0) I noticed after I listened, starred and downloaded original you had a newer version which I listened to also, which was event better.

Susan Witzel posted 5 days ago

Btw, thanks for the listens too! My songs are often just basic demos never completed from back when you used to pitch that way. I always co-wrote with different producers with intentions of pitching to certain artist at time, so nothing mastered, etc.Though some of course are!

3Mind Blight Music posted 5 days ago

Mike is my name....so do you have newer stuff. I am always looking for good female vocals etc...

Susan Witzel posted 6 days ago to 3Mind Blight Music

Hey thanks for the listens and playlist adds! I didn't realize you had vocals on songs til Rag Doll! That one sure has some energy! I think you should get that licensed a lot!

Hey Greg, I like so many for different reasons. For lyrics, Springsteen, Don Henley...Bruno Mars, ppl with a tight cohesive story. I like Nicki Minaj, Naughty By Nature,Motown Records, Enigma for sound...Barry White, Stevie Nicks for the magic...Bee Gees for harmonies (and Cyndi Corkran speaking of...) So many.. All! Give me your current favorite of yours, that's what I was asking for as songs are like kids we like different ones at different times

Glenda Jackson posted 6 days ago

Thank you Susan for giving my song The Way That Jesus Loves a 5-star rating.

Susan Witzel posted 6 days ago

You are welcome! I wish you much luck with it! :)

Cyndi Corkran posted 6 days ago

...........wow, well, thank you Susan, for that mention, in great "company" of artists!

Greg Johnson posted 5 days ago

Hi Susan. I am a huge fan of the Eagles, Hanley particularly. I love the Beatles, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, and others. For me, singer/songwriter music peaked in the 60's/70's, although there is always something good around. Check out Country Club Motor Lodge and Maybe Next Time. Those are both kind of Eagles' style tunes. Let me know which of yours to check out. Take care. Greg

Susan Witzel posted 5 days ago

Hey Greg, I have already listened to those two songs in the not too distant past and given them 5 stars then, so I am unable to star them again :) CCML also had a little Billy Joel in there and Maybe Next Time was sweet. I'm going to listen to that one again. So give me another recommendation :). As for me, my songs are all different genres, You Have No Idea (folk version), or Bye Bye Sonny (female version?) Or Sweet Dreams. Pick which one you're drawn to. Thanks.

Greg Johnson posted 5 days ago

Listened to those 3! WOW!! Really good songs! And you (I guess that's you) are a great singer. I probably like You Have No Idea best but they are all REALLY strong. On Bye Bye Sonny, the drums and percussive guitar seemed a bit overpowering to me (at least on headphones). You have such a pretty voice....thought it should have been a bit more out front with a little more mellow feel to the other stuff. WONDERFUL Music!! Check out Summer Comes Along. It is a retro song....kind of a Brian Wilson thing. Tell me others of yours you think would be my style. Take care. Greg

Susan Witzel posted 5 days ago

Thanks Greg! The singer is Jacky Dustin she is an amazing Nashville singer songwriter who did those demos. I just write with musicians and producers, either lyric or lyric and melody. And of course, that is a man on Sweet Dreams. lol. Thanks for listening to all! Ok now I can check out some more of yours! I like asking friends to post like this because there is so much stuff out there and I like to know what writers are most proud of themselves.

Greg Johnson posted 5 days ago

Sure Susan! You must spend some serious money on your recordings.....they sound completely production quality. If you get a chance, check out Me and the Moon. It is one of my faves of my songs. If you're a Beatle fan, you might also like Dream Love. Take care. Greg

Susan Witzel posted 5 days ago

He Greg- When my co-writers are producers it doesn't cost me anything thats their half :0) But sometimes I've gone to Nashville and paid them when I want to do my own song like You Have No Idea. I have written so many different ways over the years. Your production sounds great. Some of my songs are just scratch tracks by my co-writer that we never got around to having a full band demo. They are some of my favorites but the recordings are unfinished.Because they would have been too hard to pitch to an artist so investment probably not worth it. One song if you want to check it out is Johnny's 29th Birthday. It is part of a trilogy with Bye Bye Sonny... The concept of my co-writer was to take 3 songs about one person but change the musical style in each. But we never got around to having a band professionally record them. And we wanted more horns on Johnny. It's kind of a Lou Reed style. Not Fooling Me Now (Springsteen style) was first part of story, then Bye Bye Sonny, then J29BD is conclusion... told by different characters in his life. I did the lyrics and Anthony Uva did the original tracks, but never mastered or finished. Anyway, thanks. for your interest, am going to listen to more of yours.

Susan Witzel posted 5 days ago

Dream Love is definitely reminiscent of the Beatles, especially the Seargent Pepper album, very trippy and dreamy!

Greg Johnson posted 4 days ago

LIstened to Not Foolin' Me Now. Wonderful lyric!! You are an outstanding lyricist! For the most part, I like the music. To me, the singer is not at all right for the song. I can feel the Springsteen influence...l too am a big fan of "The Boss". Really great stuff you're doing! Take care. Greg
