Paul, Thanks for the great review of Suburban Cop. Neither of can play a horn so midi it is for us. You are right, it doesn't compare to the real thing. This was a demo for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. We got it directly into Scotty Morris' hands but never heard back. Oh well. I'm glad you liked it.

hey thanks for the review it was the closing song from our album and never intended as a single. the record has a mix of your normal 3 minute pop tune mixed with our more "epic" tunes like this one LOL...

This song did have lyrics and were very a whimsical look at life of a loser however it did not do well in the country scene as singers will not sing such lyrics unlike bands such as sum41 etc. We did a rewrite of the whole song titled Life is So Good" and can be heard on our page (or website http://www.paoliniepaolinimusic.net) Thanks again

My wife and I first started writing liturgical music, (and still do as the Spirit leads) If you ever get a chance, listen to our song Maybe. It is actually a religious song conveying the emotion and relationship with God that St. Theresa of Avila as she decided to follow Jesus. Most people don't get it, but we aren't writing for that. Just listened. I was immediately struck by the beautiful melody. Nice feel all the way through. Without knowing the story, I thought it conveyed a sense of loving commitment, and could apply to many things. Nice! I am currently working on a song that is a take on the story of the Prodigal Son. Of a "person" that has not "yet" summoned the courage to head home and mend the ties that bind. Thanks for sharing!
Hello P&P! Thanks for reviewing my song "Mooly Cow Lullaby". I truly appreciate the extensive thoughts and comments. Reviews are most helpful, to me, as we hear how the song is heard and sits with the listener. Yes, it is a lullaby. This song was wriiten in the 1930's by my wife's grandfather and his now being sung the the 4th generation of babies. It never had a music so I had it produced for the generations to come. I've always thought that was irrelevant. I'm sure there are lots of commercially successful multi-platinum artists whose songs wouldn't be recommended by many listeners. Once again; I really appreciate your well considered comments.
