Great tribute Donovan, to a great artist. I had read a few months ago that she had retired completely, after announcing that she had been Dx'd with Parkinson's. A sad fate to anyone, but particularly, to someone who was such a great entertainer. Here is a quote that I found by Ms Ronstadt, that greatly speaks of her feelings, and one with which we can all identify: ""Music is meant to lighten your load. By singing it ... you release (the sadness). And release yourself ... an exercise in exorcism. ... You exorcise that emotion ... and diminish sadness and feel joy." --Linda Ronstadt
