Matt Taylor has been a saxophone/woodwind player for many years. Currently in Las Vegas, he is the Reed I player on the Broadway Musical Jersey Boys. In addition he's taken to song writing and has developed a self contained style using some unique tunings on the guitar. It has been suggested that his vocal and approach to the guitar and the songs he has created show influences including James Taylor, Neil Young and Michael Hedges among others. His clear vocal harmonies combined with some heart felt lyrics, make for some interesting...beautiful music.

Sounds Like: James Taylor, Neil Young, Jackson Browne

Great sound. Nice mix....maybe add a more "non-traditional" harmony.?

Matt, just listened to Like a Mountain. I agree with your profile- reminded me of James Taylor- yet, you have your own unique style which I find incredible. It's great to hear such a pure. from the heart song-without all the extra singers and instruments. Just your awesome voice, great guitar playing, and heart felt lyrics. Thank you.

Cindy
