Hi Cyndi C!.. my dear friend and favorite Broadjam Artist! I see you caught me resurfacing to add another track to my collection! LOL! Thank you so much for your PL adds and rating on "I Got This!" I can honestly state composing this track created some challenges in my pulling together the horn melodies and acoustic bass line tracks.... not to mention the drum arrangement (at least, I have history in playing those) ;-) Eventually, I was able to pull it all together and present my offering. I always appreciate you keeping a pulse on me as well! I can't even say in words what that means, but if I can sum it up in a word it would be to say you are AWESOME! Thanks for being you!! Tony C.
Good to see you up on the board, again! Love "I Got This"; frenetically melodic, and just right. You brought it all together in your wonderfully, smooth and elegant way! I'm on my lunch break, so cannot tarry, but will revisit your page again soon. Hope all is well with you and yours, my friend!
"Frenetically melodic"... I believe several of Miles Davis' tracks have received this label... So, I think I'm in good company.. LOL! I always appreciate your feedback and concern for well-being and that is what makes you special! I hope you and your family are doing well also and looking ahead to better days! Tony C.
Ah yes, Miles; you are indeed, in great company! I caught a PBS special on him, not too long ago, and it was so interesting to hear how his music developed, and matured, especially, playing improvisational pieces with Charlie Parker and John Coltrane, to name a few. His highs and lows, expressed in his music so energetically, and also, with such melancholy, at times.
Yes, better days ahead, as we move forward in our lives, expressing energy, melancholy and a host of emotions, through our own music, and, the synergy of those with whom we collaborate!
Welcome to Broadjam! Thanks for connecting with me and adding "A Black Tie Affair" to your playlist!
I checked out a handful of your tracks and it's just as I thought! How could you "not" have that Funky groove coming from the birthplace of such Funk Giants! Loved the grooves and energy in what I heard! Montuno, Pass The Peas, and Sanctified all have that element of Funk and Jazz which definitely gets the feet tappin'!
Thank you very much my brother Jantony, yes home of The Ohio Players,Lakeside,Heat Wave,Slave and others, please join my fan club page / https://www.facebook.com/groups/129

I listened to your track titled "Montuno" and I was very impressed! A lot of talent I heard. I thought I was listening to George Bensen meets Earth Wind & Fire. Thank you once again for your nice comment of my composition titled "Coastline Drive".
Emmett, thanks a million for the 5-star rating of our "More Blues Than I Can Use" track. Much appreciated!
Brilliant work J',Emmett***

The West Coast Corey's...........
Hi Cyndi C.!
So nice to hear from you! Thank you so much for the playlist add and ratings for "Will I Ever Find You?" ! You're so awesome! I've finally had time to refocus on music and my ideas again! In fact, I've already started tracking the next song in the queue and hope it doesn't take more than a month to complete... The one-man operations can be so consuming, but it all works out in the end. :-) I hope you are well and staying safe and still making music with that wonderful voice! In fact, I'm going to have a listen before I log off! Thanks again and talk to you soon! You're a wonderful lady!
Your music never fails! "Will I Ever Find You" is another sweet, sophisticated, cool and dreamy jazz performance, that you consistently deliver, and the pleasure all mine! Glad to know that you are in the process of writing more music, and as always, I'm eager to hear your productions.
All is well here; safely cautious in my daily work and activities, while making music my priority; kind of you to ask! You too, take care my friend; stay safe, and keep up the great work!
Love the new pic!
Hi Cyndi! You are too kind! I'm glad all is well and glad you're making music your priority! In fact, I believe I am back in that focus now too! I love hearing your voice and am certain we will be back together on some upcoming music! And, you take care and stay safe as well, my friend! You are the best!
Glad to hear this Tony, and I sincerely look forward to working with you again, whenever it unfolds!
Hi Sam! Thanks for connecting with me! And, thank you for the 5-Star rating on "Downside Up!" I've listened to a few of your tracks and love your style! You've worked with some other artist/producers I'm familiar with too in Walden! If there is ever an opportunity to collaborate on a track, please feel free to let me know! I'm planning to get through more of your offerings too! Keep up the awesome work! Tony
Cool, thats awesome Jantony. Yes, collaboration would be great. Have you been placed in any projects thru Broadjam?
Hi Sam, No, nothing through Broadjam yet! Only a handful of tunes selected to-date... Still plugging at it, though :-)
Yeh, I have had 2 selected, but no placement.
Hi Cyndi C.! Thank you so much for the PL add of Coastal View! You are a gem, my friend! It was just a fun first track from my migration to Pro Tools 2018. Of course, there is lots more to come, but had to go through the learning curve being a long-time SONAR user. In any event, always happy to know I have your ear! Love it! Thanks again! :-)
Always such a pleasure, listening to your ear candy Tony! Glad that you're composing again, after your learning curve!
May all great things, come your way!
Hello Mr. Roy Elkins!
Thank you so much for adding "Snap, Crackle, Stop" and "Downside Up" to your Jazz Playlist! I must say.. with you being the CEO of Broadjam, this is quite and honor! These are two of my favorite songs actually and I have targeted them for remixing... they just haven't moved into the queue yet... Working hard on meeting other licensing criteria for other material! However, you will know they have been remixed, as I will move them to the top of the list! :-) Thanks again and Happy Holidays! I really appreciate it! Thank you!
My good friend! Thanks very much for your gracious rating and PL adds of "Remembering Negril" It is appreciated! You are so wonderful! :-) Also, working to finish up our project track to add your splendid vocal work too! Thanks again!
It is always such a pleasure, listening to your fine music! I've been refining lyrics, and recording today, practicing for the project, of which you speak, and very excited to start, in earnest.
Hope all is well, and that your life is full and sweet!
Good morning, Cyndi C.!
Thank you so much for the rating and PL adds of "Caribbean Cocktails". It is always an honor to be included on your playlists with so many other great Broadjam artists! I also love the creative titles you give to these lists. Very Cool! Thanks again!
Good morning Tony!
Always a pleasure, listening to your beautiful productions; crazy-good jazz & melodic grooves! Looking forward to more;-)..!
Be well, stay happy, and always, much peace in your life.
Great to see your new music up on the board! "Caribbean Cocktails" is so fine; atmospherically jazzed, bringing the sand, sea and island energy to us all! Great sound my friend!
My most favorite Broadjam artist! Thank you very much! It was about time that I breathed some life into this track! In fact, I may even revisit "Pelicans on the Beach", but too many other tracks ahead of that... I pretty much base it on the licensing opportunities. In any event, always a pleasure to hear from you and thank you for always letting me know you've hears something... I have to log on more often and get better at that too! I'm just wearing a lot of hats these days!
I have you on my track list too! Stay tuned!
I wish you all the best on your opps! I understand about a lot of other hats, on a day to day basis.
Always a pleasure hearing and appreciating your artistry; looking forward to more!
Have a wonderful, productive week, with any particular "hat" you may be wearing at the time;-)
Good morning, Cyndi C!

I love "Twilight Mind", and have been THERE, many times! That bittersweet longing, in the middle of the night; those memories that are recalled, revisited, and haunt our very heart and mind. Lovely mood, and just wished that it was longer! My pleasure, certainly!!!

Hey there, Cyndi C.!
Thank you so much for your rating and Play List adds for "Backyard Barbecues (Dust off)"...I believe it was you who inspired me to "dust" off some of the older tunes! ;-) In fact, many of them were really good ideas, but definitely needed a "refresh" in the mixing department...I like this track a lot because of its airy and uplifting feel...FYI..the Mastering course started this week, so now I will pick up new techniques in that space to improve my tracks conditioning and sound to meet all phases of "Broadcast Ready!" LOL! Thanks again! You're awesome!
You are so welcome and yes, very worth the "dust off"! :-)....Great piece with a happy, carefree feel, and placement qualities, for sure! Happy for you to be starting another course, in which you are already, very competent. I'm sure that you will enjoy it and as always, do extremely well.
Take care of yourself, and be well!

Thank you so much for your rating on "The Silverback"...back when I wrote it, some of my colleagues questioned the theme, but in my opinion every "thing" has a music canvas associated with....someone just has to create it! ;-)
Thanks again and wishing you much success in the New Year!
Happy New Year to You too!
Very nice piece :) Afterwards I looked up the thing on youtube where that man reunited with the gorilla he had raised. And I found out he just reunited with two others he had also released back into the wild. Did you ever see those? I posted them on FB
Wow! That is interesting! I haven't seen these, but will definitely have to check them out! Thanks very much!
If they don't work by link, go to youtube and search man reunited with gorillla. It's so moving. Anyway, nice work as always and happy new year!
***HAPPY NEW YEAR, Cyndi C.!***
Thanks so much for your rating on "The Silverback"...I wasn't sure I was going to remix this song, but it has a certain essence which compelled me to do so. There may be a few others I might "dust off" before presenting the new material, but we will see ;-)
Thanks again and it is always a pleasure! Also, time for us to start conjuring up some more magic! ;-)
Good morning, and Happy New Year Tony! Another fine composition with "The Silverback". Listening gave me the feeling of watching nature, in all Her beauty and intelligence! Yes, do dust off any and all of those "back burner" projects, and bring them to light/life!

I am not a Jazz player...wish I was!!! Your playing is incredible....wow! I'm gonna guess, you use all live musicians on your tracks is that correct?? No loops...right!! Love your playing! Please feel free to go to our Broad Jam site and have a listen...we are number 7 on the Top Ten Smooth Jazz listing.......Marg & A. Corey, Jerry Peterson on Sax!!
And, thanks again for your comments! I'm actually a solo artist/producer/engineer and outside of arranging drum patters and fills, I actually play all of the instrument parts myself! I just try to assimilate playing whatever the instrument is (outside of piano, of course) and play as if I'm a pseudo bass player, or guitar player, or sax even..it's fun...but, having some good virtual instruments is critical! ;-) Good luck on your tunes and keep climbing those charts!
Good to hear from you again! So, do you lay down the drum patterns first and then add the bass and then the Keyboard parts and then some guitar or maybe even some Sax....Wow!! Your playing sounds like loops it's so perfect, and your timing YIKES!! It almost doesn't sound possible?? You are one HECK of a musician friend!! Again, love your songs and playing tremendous job!!
Thanks again! Yes, for most songs that is typically my approach, however I will have already completed the arrangement beforehand on the piano or keyboards. Also, the bass lines are usually the third track after drums...keys will be first. So, I pretty much already know which instruments will be included in the arrangements along with their melodies, chords, rhythm, etc. Playing and timing is not an issue unless I come up with some really complex arrangement and will have to practice it several times before laying the track. I was formally trained on the piano and have played several venues, events and engagements over the years in the US and Canada...most with bands, but many combo and solo events as well. After a while the playing becomes natural, it's keeping "fresh" ideas flowing that becomes the challenge...since so much much out there sounds the same...but, it's true that history also repeats itself! ;-)
Thanks for all the input...very useful!! Hope you get a chance to give our material a quick review...love to get your thoughts regarding our approach on our songs!!
