Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist. I write mainly in the contemporary acoustic style, however, my love of blues and contemporary rock seems to rise to the surface regularly and I'm more that happy to go with that. I suppose that I see myself as a songwriter first and foremost, but I do enjoy the whole process of recording and performing with all the many and varied highs and lows that come with it.
Technically, the albums have grown with recording technology innovation (some would say cheating!) but hopefully, the songs will speak for themselves and stay true to their acoustic, sofa based origins.
If there are any songwriters, muso types working in this genre anywhere near me (Stamford Lincs) and you want to get in touch.....please do. If you're interested in performing then thats good too! (am I coming across as a bit needy?).

Two new albums. Chums is a folk based concept album about 3 best friends who grow up together just in time to go to war in 1915. This collection of songs is unapologetically Folk, from start to finish, It just seemed to fit the subject matter so well. The second is a new album titled The Dreaming and is a bunch of contemporary songs, some observational, some narrative and others very personal. Thanks for looking in, hope you enjoy the music.

Thanks Delta, I've had the same but it just says "your song has been downloaded" not who has downloaded it. It doesn't really matter, just wanted to say thanks. Hope you're ok, John.

Hi all, can anyone tell me if you can find out who has downloaded your songs, so that I can thank them?
