About Me

I began performing at an early age, gigging all over the country anywhere and everywhere, honing my vocal ability, gaining invaluable experience and diverse skills which led to me becoming a session vocalist. Working in studios from age 14 (often in my school uniform!) meant that I was able to observe many a writer and band, and this inspired me to start writing myself. Entering and winning songwriting competitions gave me confidence and over time I have developed my own style. In recent years I have written with Ricky Ross, Boo Hewerdine and worked as a Backing Vocalist for Neil Finn, Ricky Ross and for the past 12 months I have toured internationally with Ronan Keating.

I suppose thats 'Me' in a clean-cut nutshell (careful how you say that!). It seems weird fitting my whole life into one paragraph so if you want to know more then read on!

I would start by telling you that I'm a twin, to a boy, and we started entertaining when we were very young, doing gigs for free (well, maybe the occasional box of sweets or a whip-round!), to anybody who would watch us, which realistically meant OAPs in Nursing Homes and the odd Social Club, but it was all good practice, and as soon as our set was polished, our Dad drove us EVERYWHERE to show us off!! (Im gonna skip past these years as most of it was too cringy to even think about!)

Fast forward to a few years later.....

As mentioned, while still at school I went to a local recording studio for my work-experience and loved it so much I bought the company....no not really!! But I did stay there for a number of years, hovering around doing random jobs (if you bought a singing Barbie doll in Denmark a few years ago...you would've been listening to one of my early sessions!) At 21 I was still gigging all around the country, but now by myself, when I started doing auditions and moved to London. I had been writing for a few years prior to the move and so I naturally continued and learned a lot while I was there. I met some really talented people and had some incredible experiences, I moved back home after a year away and decided once and for all to throw myself into writing songs. It was something I had always done, just a hobby, but now it is my life, it's all I do every day and night! (How funny is the word hobby!?) I have worked with some amazing writers over the past 2 years and I've soaked up all their tips and tricks like a sponge. Since I didn't go to university, I consider that time as my student days. (Well I was very poor, wore clothes from the Oxfam shop and dyed my hair a lot too!) It's been great as I have been able to write as a day job almost and quite literally sing for my supper!! All the years of gigging served me well when I was asked to do Backing Vocals for Ronan. The first gig we did was in Hamburg Arena in front of 15,000 people! I completed the European tour and have done many TV appearances and UK gigs to this day, it's a great job and I've learned so much from him and the rest of the band. I currently live in Liverpool with my gorgeous and talented boyfriend who is also my Engineer and Co-Pilot when I write and record. We are always learning new things about music and technology and one day soon I hope to own a house with a built in soundproof studio where I can sing my head off til 5 in the morning if I so desire......oh to be rich!!!
I hope you enjoy the songs I have put up on here, I'll update them as often as I can.

Hello Tricia. I love your music. You have the best voice I have heard in decades. You might remember that we connected at twitter. I probably told you that 'Sweetness and Light' was one the best songs ever, in my opinion. (still is)
