About Tish Ann Mac:
I write positive, uplifting music, including Country, Country Pop, Pop, and Latin. My focus is on creating songs that inspire and spread love and light into the world.
• My songs have been played on radio stations in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Clear Channel, and American Idol's online radio station when it was in operation.
• My song, "The Wind That Carries Me", was number 3 on the year-end countdown in 2005 on 106.3 FM in Big Rapids, Michigan.
• Semi-finalist out of 1,200 songwriters in the Great American Songwriting Contest (a contest judged by music industry experts who have worked with Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, etc.)
• Received an honorable mention from the Billboard Music Charts and Billboard Magazine in their Billboard World Song Contest
• Nominated to receive an award at the Detroit Music Awards for best Country music vocal. Nominees in other categories were Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Eminem, The White Stripes, Uncle Kracker, and Kid Rock
• 1st place in the first round of a singing contest sponsored by Kid Rock's Emerald Theater
• My song, When the Rain Falls Down, finished in 3rd place, in Songwriter Universe's month of April songwriting contest, and my song, Dare to Dream, finished in 4th place in their May contest. Songwriter Universe is an organization headed by veteran music publisher/A&R exec Dale Kawashima, who previously was President of Michael Jackson's ATV Music and a creative exec at Sony/ATV Music, Motown Records, and Mercury Records. Also, hit songwriters make up Songwriter Universe's advisory board.
