Story Behind The Song
My chronic illness had kicked up; running a fever and in some pain. I conjured this image from my driving in the desert some ten years ago. The characters are crazy mercenary gear heads I've known. I married the two in a psycho blues cut and watched it roll like part of a David Lynch movie left behind on the editors floor.

Lyrics
crashin our cars by Mojave moonlight
crashin our cars by Mojave Moonlight
nothin to guide us but the darker darkness
luck to the clown who's up and drunk less
Larry lost his arm but he's balls to the wall
'at's the way you set 'em up
and that's the way they fall
crashin our cars by Mojave moonlight
patchin up you wound by Mojave moonlight
patchin up your wound by Mojave moonlight
get that liquid skin then we wrap it real tight
patchin up your wound by Mojave moonlight
Ginny's got some gin so you rinse it out
no one gives a damn if you scream and shout
crashin our cars by Mojave moonlight
notice other day how he just don't act right?
doesn't want to talk like he's fightin snakebite
got a little pistol tucked down in his jeans
I won't be askin questions not by any means
Lukas wants to race him so it's done I guess
don't wanna be around to clean up that mess
crashin our cars by Mojave moonlight
