Some journeys are beyond the average human's comprehension. 2015
Nothing less than Greatness i love this
Slow build is always useful, provides lots of different levels and ideas for people to work with. I love the use of percussion, it's active and exciting. There's a lot of opportunities that call for epic action music and this will be in the mix for every one. I also really like the glissing, very Hans Zimmer.
Nathaniel, I really enjoyed this song, this journey. Your use of traditional sounds, synthisized instruments, effects... very well though out. This is a good inspiration for me and a great motivator. Thank you.
I can't think of anyone this reminds me of. It's fresh to my ear, and I've listened to a lot of soundtrack stuff because of my involvement with film music for many years.
This piece presents three separate movements, to my thinking, with the reprise of the first creating the third.
This may sound silly, but I'm intrigued with the key click that can be heard at the very beginning in the oblibatto chord pattern. That's just evil!
The string sweeps at 1:00 are very effective. The production allows them to breath freely, and they really do push the remainder of the arrangement. At 1:44 the transition begins, and then, pow! we're in a different place completely, with the reverse white noise hit gluing things together... I know what images this conjures for me. I'd be interested to know your inspiration for writing this bit into the construct. Love it.
Nice showcase of contemporary sounding patches. With very few tweaks that could be arranged as an EDM piece, it has the drive to.
