Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song because I was in love with a dark skinned man... and I got sick of the looks we got. I am white... but I wrote it because of the frustration I felt towards other white people and their racial intolerance..
Song Description
This song explains the feeling that two people go through when their skin is a different colour... the prejudice, the shame... the sarcastic remarks.. it's quite a tribal feel. Very different.

Lyrics
?RED SUNSET?© Karina Di Fabio
Oh Brother. Come from a different land. Oh Brother.
1. You and I we walk on red sunset.
Blood of the children stain the sky.
Hold my hand amidst the riots of red sunset.
2. From the womb. You know of red sunset.
From the womb. You learn to die.
You teach me the power of love. I learn to cry.
CHORUS : Brother Brother. Coloured man.
Come from a different land.
Face to face I kiss you. In the darkness.
3. You and I. We walk on red sunset.
Blood of the elders stain the sky.
Walk the streets and hide your faces. From the white lights.
CHORUS : Brother Brother. Coloured man.
Come from a different land.
Face to face I kiss you in the darkness of my shame.
4. You and I. On red sunset. Blood of the children stain the
sky.
CHANT: Oh brother. Come from a different land.
Oh brother. Come from a different land.
Oh brother. Come from a different land.
Oh brother. Come from a different land.
Oh brother??(You and I on red sunset.)
Etc.
