Love makes a difference in every life it touches.
Love Matters ©2014 Janet Steely
VS 1: In the early morning hours / it took more than a car and house.
Seems everything was lost / even their precious son is gone
Fire swept through in such a rage / where do they place the blame They are broken and they cry/
sometimes through the night / . . . . God remove this pain
CH: There are many hurting / needing hope and freedom
& their pain is multiplied/ when our arms pass them by?
Can we love each other / Loving like it matters/ 'cause it does
VS 2: Take the addict and his scars / searching deep within his heart
He wonders what it takes / to find healing for His pain
Criticized for all his wrongs / He feels low and alone
Anger eats away inside / everything's a fight / . . . two wrongs don't make right
Bridge: Remember what Jesus brought you through / keep faith and hope alive
With the comfort we've been given / we can touch another life
VS 3: Jesus reached out past His pain / loved us all without restraint
To save a dying world / who would kill Him without cause
Though rejected and abused / didn't use it for excuse
But He conquered every pain / of the cross and shame / by His love for you
final CH: you and I were hurting / needing hope and freedom
Jesus didn't pass us by / He gave hope and life
Can we Love like Jesus / loving like it matters x2 Cause it does it does ... love matters love matters
Crystal clear vocal, and beautifully played guitar. I would call this an excellent sermon in song. Some people have a voice I could listen to for hours. Yours is one of those. Loved the way you gently and persuasively preached about how love matters. We need to use these arms to love and serve and minister. Thanks for the exhortation. I plan to take it on this week as I serve the Lord. Vocal and guitar get 5 stars. This is a good example of how a simple production with vocal and guitar can be SO effective! Great job on the bridge!
