Song Description

Daffodils announcing the arival of spring.

Story Behind the Song

Looking out my window last spring I was intrigued by the dance of the butterfly. As the daffodils peek out from the melting snow and spring emerges, it is almost like the daffodils are raising their trumpet like blooms to announce the arrival of Spring. My co-writer, Thierry Coupey, has done an AMAZING job capturing the majesty of the "Butterfly Dance" in his musical arrangement. I couldn't be more pleased with his arrangement and the magical way it makes the lyric come to life.

l liked the classical feel along with celtic feel, with the whistle and the percussion you used it had a light but powerful feel. Are you the singer Janet? I liked your song. This a collaboration with Thiery from Canada? I just got mail, funny that!

Spring comes
Dancing on a prayer

See them come and go
Butterflies on Daffodils
Are here
Where yesterday was snow

Raise your trumpet up to call

Sunny afternoon
Flutter softly as you fly You're free

Winter's gone & Spring has come
Her promise now fulfilled
Of Butterflies
