Lyrics
London Bridge
Copyright 2002 T. James Hurley
Underneath the London Bridge they're dancing as the sun goes down
and Johnny plays the bongos for the moon.
Later on the Crocodiles and Chuckie will purvey their styles,
the dancing will continue well past noon.
And Mister Scientifical and Newton discuss typical results of apples falling to the ground.
While Sparky and his chromium euphonic Resophonium
continue to astonish and astound.
Rumor filters through the crowd,
dancing may not be allowed,
something's happened, turned it all around.
Mayor issues proclamations, there will be investigations,
experts say our bridge is falling down.
Falling down...
Underneath the London Bridge the only thing that's heard,
the sound of water lapping at the shore.
It used to be a happy place with laughter ringing everywhere
but laughter isn't heard there anymore.
Then Mister Scientifical, exploring microphysical
formulates a theory all his own.
"According to my calculations, based upon my observations,
this entire bridge is made of stone!"
Hallelujah!
Underneath the London Bridge They're dancing every day
and people come to hear the music from afar.
It's said that on occasion Scientifical can be prevailed upon
to solo on his new invention....atomic guitar.
Underneath the London Bridge.
