Originally from the Monterey Bay area in California, James' professional career began the year after Nixon resigned. Since then he has played on three continents and toured extensively in the U.S. With early influences ranging from The Beatles, Zeppelin, and Hendrix, to Benny Goodman, Django Reinhart, and Joe Pass, James' guitar-based blend of Jazz, Blues, Folk and Rock influences is unique and refreshing.
