Story Behind The Song

Josh came up with the music to this song. I like the fluid sound of it on the verses and then it rocks out on the chorus. It just has a lot of feeling. I knew I wanted lyrics to match the feeling right off and it took a lot of time to come up with something that fit. This was one of those songs like Falling where the music itself communicated something and it was a matter of capturing it in words... The verses became a divorced or separated couple expressing their frustration and despair... the chorus is a reply from the perspective of the loving God above... I think somewhere inside the music resonated with my personal experience that in my most desperate times I've been comforted without even knowing it sometimes... and it's not until later when I'm thinking straight again that I recognize who was there for me... --Brian Weber
