Good idea and hook. I like the instrumentation, especially the guitar. Lyrics and story have potential. Melody has good potential.
Great Song,not sure why but reminded me of "Talking Head" with some great guitar work. Nice feel to the song and would like to hear more. Great work also on the backing vocals.
A cautionary tale about a river and how we should stay away from it...or else!!! Cool concept and a blues approach as a bed for the concept was a good choice. All in all its ok tune!
I like this song. I can relate to this living near the Susquehanna River. The Susquehanna can be very treacherous. I saved a guy from drowning on it one day. And that was during a drought when it looked sleepy. That guy learned the hard way. My brother in law (Dan Hartman) wrote a song about the Susquehanna called The River Rising which he recorded when he was with the Edgar Winter Group. Neat song you have there, keep it up!!!
Love blues with organ in it! Nice guitar work. This reminds me of something that could be placed into a movie soundtrack easily. The chorus, stay away from the river, is especially suited for a film scene for sure! Good job!

Great tune and style, merging Talking Heads mid period Fleetwood Mac when Bob Welch was lead singer guitarist. Very tight performances all round and a mysterious vibe. Cool.
