Lyrics

What Did I Miss?

What did I miss through the years
That I lived without you?
What did I miss, were there tears?
Could I have helped you?
What were you like before we met?
What did I miss?

When you were just a little boy
Did the world amuse you?
When you discovered little girls
Did they just confuse you?
What made you smile before we met?
What did I miss?

Now that the time is passing
With us hand in hand
If this is everlasting
I'll need to understand
Just what I missed

Now when the day comes to an end
And it's put behind you
Before another day begins
I will still remind you
Before your dreams start, tell me this,
What did I miss?

It don't get better than this..... great job. vocal, arrangement and recording......

The mix is nice, I like the way the vocals compliment the instrumental. Probably my first country song to ever review but so far from I heard it's nice. Since I am not a country listener I probably won't listen to this song ever again but I can hear it on a tv show or a commercial.

Beautiful song. I like the singer's timbre...not generic, but distinctive. Of course, the tracks are all high quality, too. Great demo!

Great song, great instrumentation, perfect vocals for this song! Definitely marketable. I can hear this song in an array of movies, films....Great job!

VERSE, VERSE,HOOK VERSE, VERSE HOOK, BRIDGE VERSE, HOOK...THIS SONG DOES'NT FEEL LIKE IT CAME EASY !!!

Really nice concept and idea embedded in this song. The lyrics are especially nice....as they progress through the story and the musings of the singer. Very heartfelt and the imagery is clear and paint a vivid story. The singer is spot on with her phrasing and emotion and the subtle variances of her breathy delivery are very engaging. Production is excellent, as is the instrumentation and arrangement of the song. There is no reason on God's Green Earth that this song should not be in a major country artist's song list.

Thanks for sharing......

Great song! I really like the concept.

Great sound, smooth with a Lorrie Morgan sound

This was a really enjoyable song to listen to. Great instrumentation, great arrangement, great production and vocal presentation. It's a well written song and was presented very well. You can't really go wrong with this how this song sounds. I could easily listen to it several times over and not get tired of hearing it.
