Lyrics

The Third To Know

One thing I know about this crazy old life
You let me go but still you're holdin' tight
I guess you don't want me to move on gracefully
Cos the calls come daily and with every one
Comes the question "have you found someone?"
I've got no answer these things happen magically

You'll be the third to know darlin'
When there is hope in my sights
You'll be the third to know darlin'
But I am gonna be sure this time is right

It won't be easy to be loved again
With reminders from an old girlfriend
I'm just beginning to refresh my heart and mind
So if you really meant goodbye to me
You'll cut the calling and the third degree
Just wish me well and leave our history behind

You'll be the third to know darlin'
Just take care of yourself
You'll be the third to know darlin'
Cos' when I'm able to get off of the shelf
You'll get a message from me
and it'll be real brief
I've found someone
Now I can spell relief
Time to move it on
And we can go our separate ways

You'll be the third to know darlin'
That day will come you can trust
You'll be the third to know darlin'
but first I've gotta shake off some of this rust

I Dig It
I dig it with a spoon, a shovel. I just simply dig it! :-)
A nice country-ish pop laid-back slo-mid tempo ballad. The mix sounds nicely eq'd and balanced. That has to be a telecaster jangling around in the mix, right? Sounds good!! The backing vocals are well performed and recorded. Perfectly placed in the mix. Well done! The lead vocal is also well performed and recorded. Perfect prosody!!

Shades of Neil Diamond ! Clever build up to the chorus , overall an enjoyable listen .

Good recording, good song, good voice.......well done

Very nice concept, and it's well performed with almost a Byrds rock-like backdrop. The story line isn't new, but it's a clever twist on a long-standing Country favorite, so kudos for that. Good song.

boy, lots of good stuff here.

the lyrics are well done...love the hook line..nice melodic bass lines..

love ballads this artist is a killer! Watch Out Now!

reminds me of the song breaking up is hard to do by Neal Sedaka.
break ups are always difficult. the only thing we can do is move on. a song some of us can relate too.

Awesome song defiantly gonna hear more of your music keep it up like follow and share moldenmusicgroup

Like the first six words of the hook. The melody that goes with these words complement them. As I am typing this these words are ring in my ears. Like the concept - third to know. Liked the guitar intro and the way the bridge slipped in effortlessly.

Nicely done! Great song! Sounds like a Don Henley song.

The intro was very powerful. I like that it captured your attention in the first five seconds. Sometimes it is too long and you loose intrest before the song starts, so I liked how you started the song quickly. You have a very strong country voice. Your vocals were very good in this song. I could see this playing in today's market, even though it has an old school Country vibe. It was a very nice song.

Awesome song. Great arrangement and recording.

really nice song well sung ..i think this has great potential ..kinda tim magraw style no bad thing
