Story Behind The Song
I was smitten with a man I hardly knew, and spent only 5 days with him. When the trip ended, we swore we'd write and see each other again. But that was short-lived and of course we didnt see each other again. At first I was sore about it, but now I am glad it happened the way it did. Real realtionships have baggage that comes with them - and while that is part of what makes real love beautiful, it was nice to have something more of a fantasy to hold up on a pedastal and remember with purity.

Lyrics
Stansberry
Verse 1
Bound up in bruises of an ancient love that long before had came
I could never trust my heart ? I?d lynch it then revive my brain
Then entered into the so cold compartments of my chest flowed
Stansberry ? my remedy
Verse 2
He eased me down into the sand so slow like one would in a bath
And he?s still seeping out of me as something that?s sweeter than sweat
Two skins from different towns and now I have tasted Indiana
Stansberry ? meshing with me
Verse 3
And now -
Memory and reality are transfused these days you could say
But truth not be told for I?d rather hold those five nights safely tucked away
He?s gone now ? veiled somewhere
Between the atoms and the air now
Stansberry ? in my memory
How warm you keep me
Stansberry ? even now
