Story Behind The Song
While staring at a huge moon over the neighborhood rooftops, I began to have a conversation with the moon, itself. Clouds floated by and it appeared as though the moon were listening to what I had to say. Even though it was a one-sided conversation, a relationship of sorts was actually beginning to take place. However, the moon remained silent. The song is the result.
Song Description
Imaginative relationship between a woman and the moon as a heavenly body. A story of a rather unrequited love.

Lyrics
MAN IN THE MOON
VERSE 1
They say there's a man in the moon,
But I was beginning to doubt it.
Then you came through the clouds blowing smoke - as cold as ice.
VERSE 2
Could you know I adored you, night until noon,
And still have done nothing about it,
But love from afar?
Those looks of love - your only vice.
CHORUS 1
Lonely night moon, why are you staring?
Have you never lived?
Have you never laughed before?
Take me up tonight,
To your orbit in the sky.
Through star spangled lights,
And we'll dance together.
CHORUS 2
Lonely night moon, why are you staring?
Have you never dreamed?
Have you never loved before?
Take me up tonight,
To your orbit in the sky.
And you'll have my love,
As long as there is a forever.
REPRISE
They say there's a man in the moon.
They say there's a man in the moon.
They say there's a man in the moon.
OUTTRO
And I'm in love with the man in the moon.
