Peg Algar is a vocalist and recording artist in the Madison, WI area. She is a versatile vocalist, performing jazz, blues, folk and pop styles. She has recorded with local Madison musicians including: Cliff Fredriksen, Rand Moore, Pete Olig, Doug Algar and others. She was a 2013 Madison Area Music Awards finalist for best blues album "Tired of Your Jive".

Peg was also a 2019 Madison Area Music Awards Finalist for best cover song "A Change is Gonna Come". She was on Robert J's 2019 MAMA's playlist and made Number 4 on the 2019 top ten list for Broadjam's Best Blues Tunes category ("A Change is Gonna Come").
