Hello, I love your voice and story. I too grew up in the south, Arkansas. Long story short, I'm an old guy that's seen his share of the traveling bar life... Today I write/produce and market aggressively..Currently I've written a Christmas song.... Hey Katilyn, I see you reviewed my version of Cher's "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" It is a cover song for a cd I am working on....it seems you find a lot of songs dated and yes I would say it is dated, it is a song I have liked since it first came on the air waves...what is great about music is you can make any song your own as long as you pay the man...I have done very little of my own songs because others are better at it then I and I play no instruments...My producer has worked around The Who. the Animals Rick Tyler in his day...I have given a listen to some of your songs when they all had 0 plays in front, so it shows you are a newbie so welcome to BJ and what a tough town to be a rocker....but good luck on your journey in BJ....in music... Shadow Creek, I see you got my attempt at a Bluegrass song...First I am a Celtic/Folk singer but that song I heard in Tenn on a friday nite bluegrass band at a cafe...took me asking name of song...well it is a cover and I guess you can say I did it my way I also have another version if you care to go to my site and give a listen...more folky...thank you for the review and listen....when someone is new to me I go to their site to see where they are coming from... I must say I found it difficult to figure out who was singing with no write up on song lyrics but one and it seems I was listening to different singers...It takes awhile to get the in and outs of the workings of BJ and reviewing...good luck with your journey on BJ and I hope you get back to me....I am a friend of music....Delta

I don't know your first name so it is all seems a bit impersonal. What I was trying to say is that the review comments that appear under a song on a members song page are automatically taken from the positive comments box in a review. If negative or constructive comments are in positive comments box, the songwriter has to make a choice of having criticism appear with their song, or not publish the positive comments. No offence at all.

Hi, thanks for your detailed review of We Can Be Lovers Again. You are right about the quality of the female vocals, Julia Schmidt has worked with several writers and producers here on BJ and I was fortunate enough to collaborate with her on many songs, mostly her own. She has a lot of good music on her own site. I'm in the UK and Julia is in New Jersey so it was all done online, to and fro.
