Merry White Christmas and Hap-hap-happy New Year!
Thanks for the fine review of the instrumental version of my song, "Old Friends". Glad you enjoyed it. Has a "Coldplay" vibe to it. The song itself was written back in 1978 and sat quiet one of my early demo tapes waiting to be produced. (I think I have over 1,000 songs "Waiting"). Anyway, I recorded it a couple years ago and people have taken to it. The version with lyrics has been on the Top Ten for awhile. Check it out....nice song, although the storyline is a bit bittersweet. It was inspired by a dream I had of my dad, who passed away when I was a child. I also added a verse about a friend who succumbed to addiction.....but the summation is sweet and heartening.
Anyway, check-out, "Old Friends", at my site.
Hope all is well and that Santa brings lot of recording toys and PLUG-INS! Yeah!
just uploaded a new song feel free to let me know what you think
Thanks everyone for the awesome comments they def help inspire to keep writing

Dear Robert thanks for your generous review of my song "In the valey of Gods". Just listened to "reflections of the mind" very nice piano composition that invokes strong mellancholic emotion. Very suitable to play inwhile the hero-ine of the movie suffer or maybe s/he feels guilty realised what s/he have done!
Amazingly beautiful. It's enchanting and makes you want to keep listening to the song. Love this!
Thanks for taking the time to review Aire in A Minor, and for your thoughtful comments.
The hiss: with only two musicians, me on guitar and John Patek on violin, many separate recordings had to be layered in, and each mic'ed recording picked-up a little ambient noise which resulted in the background noise. This was not recorded at a professional, dead studio. Yah, I wish it was only music that was recorded.

Hello Robert and welcome to Broadjam. Thanks for the review of my vintage scripture song. I like to sing that one when my mind is cluttered with unhealthy thoughts. Congratulations on writing your first song. God bless you! We used to live in Sault Ste. Marie! Mrs. Kate
I would love to hear more. The ending felt like the end of day, and the music up to it was the soundtrack. I could listen over and over. Please let me know when you add music!
Thank you for the review and comments on my song, "Worthy." It is greatly appreciated!
I just listened to Reflections of the Mind. Very nice first posting on Broadjam. I enjoyed the effective and enchanting starkness and the rhythmic interplay.
