about This Song is For You - the chorus of that song is very catchy - especially the big one just after that brief pause at 2.59 - it works really well with those backing vocals - great job!

Hey! how you doin' everyone -- well I'm Maelin Joli from Quebec City in Canada -- I'm a singer songwriter who likes to try all kinds of styles of music really -- I mean if I have a good melody for a rock song (like Ride on) I'II record that -- if I find a good melody for a country song I'll do it -- I go with the melody first --I mean that's the advantage of being an independent artist -- you have the freedom to do whatever you want right? -- well that's exactly what I do -- I don't want to be stuck in a formula -- right now I would like to place a few songs in films or tv and see how it goes -- I'm new to this kind of thing so we'll see -- I also like to check out what the others are doing here on Broadjam, also Youtube and Soundcloud --I think the music I hear on those websites is often better than the stuff on the top 40 radio -- so that's it for now -- Maelin http://www.maelinjoli.com/ 1
