Frosty, Thanks for being a member. I just recently listened that song again. Good song, heartfelt and dead center of the Patriotic genre. Good work! Best, Roy

I wrote this song in 1990, when ouor oldest daughter was just 8 months old. I recorded her cooing and put it on this track. She will be 29 years old in November, 2018. It still brings a tear to my eye!

Hey Frosty,

I see you are playing the Bitter End. I played there on numerous occasions in the 70's where I opened for Linda Ronstadt, The Kingston Trio, Brewer & Shipley, John Denver and Jackson Browne. I remember that they allowed us to draw our name on the wall in the Green Room. Are those names still there or did they paint it over? Anyway, break a leg.... and know that I am jealous. I had a grand time when playing there. My buddy, John Fahey, was there for all my shows...sitting in the front row.

Best,

Chet Nichols

Hi Chet,
Yes-I play the Bitter End every Monday night. I've been playing with Richie Cannata for almost 8 years and 6 of those years have been at the Bitter End. I will look for your name :) By the way, I don't know if you remember Kenny Gorka, who managed the club for years. He just passed away a few days ago. We are having a special tribute to him tonight. If you go to www.bitterend.com and click on the live stream video, you can see it. We start around 11:30pm EST. All the best, my friend.
