For the centennial of Wes Montgomery, Eric and I did an arrangment of "Bumpin' On Sunset'
Eric Montgomery and I just released our version of the classic Wayne Shorter tune Speak No Evil. It features some great sax from Jay Davidson.

Hi Eric and Ray,
As someone who had submitted to the opportunity FT1222F9, congratulations on having your song, Impromptu, selected. I often try to gauge the market by listening to the song that was selected, it also helps me to benchmark my own stuff. In this case the opportunity states that your song Impromptu was selected but I can't find it anywhere and the info button on the selected song link doesn't produce anything. Intrigued, I scanned and then searched your Bjam song list, with no luck. At this point I wondered if the song had to be removed due to an exclusive contract, but that's not the case. So I thought your links to YouTube and SoundCloud might take me to it - no luck there either.
Now I'm really intrigued and wonder where I can hear the track?
Any chance you can enlighten me folks?
Thanks for the nice reviews of our jazzy tunes!
Hi Eric and Ray - hey thanks for the Stars on Dopamine, have subbed to your YouTube and made a comment - appreciate if you can go here:

Thanks for the positive review of our song "Kickin' It"
So glad you like it.
Hey Frank thank you so much for the stars on "Twice as Blue" Greatly appreciated. Cheers. Scott/Ravensong
Thanks for reviewing our song, Frank!
Thanks to Bill Dake for his great review of our version of the Wes Montgomery classic 'Road Song'
Wes was/is an all time favorite of mine...gone too soon. You guys did a great job. Curious about what guitar and amp setup you use 'cause it sounds sweet...keyboards too.
The guitar you hear on the melody and solo sections of 'Road Song' and many of the other tunes we do is a Gibson L-5ces.
Great guitar! I've been playing a '64 Johnny Smith since 1968. Same body, different electrics. Still have my '69 Fender twin jbl.
Hey guys - Listened to your Sunrise, wow beautifully rich tune! Like a combo of Sting, Bruce Hornsby and Esbjorn Svensson all at once- could listen all day!
Good luck on the listing! :) -diane
Thanks so much. We've been putting the tunes onto YouTube. We'd appreciate it if you could click the Subscribe button there. Be on the lookout for some holiday tunes, too.
Hey guys I tried to find that link, but it doesn't seem to get to your post, is there a delay or an update perhaps?
Oops. Maybe this is more straightforward
Nice smooth, very tasteful. Looking forward to some more future music. Being a jazz piano player myself I can appreciate the keys.
New music release, a nice 6/8 jazz tune called Lullaby. Give it a listen.
Love this piece, E & R! -- Stylistically, you are after a piece of my heart. -- I have been largely immersed in a synthy, fusiony type trip of late, but my roots perhaps have something in common with yours. Am sharing a piece of mine here, Five Cent Blues. I confess it is a synth construction; however I have aspired to make it as realistic as possible. I hope you discern something of value in it.
Your stuff is fab, guys. Keep it up! -- Rex
Oops! Cannot share here?? check this link out. All the best!
Eric & Ray,
Thanks for the stars! I always appreciate any and all comments. Your performances are really great and your writing is clever and engaging. Good luck to you! - Kevin

We have just added a new bonus track to our website. It's a reimagined version of the classic 'Stella By Starlight' that features an arrangement and performance by Eric and Ray, plus some great tenor sax by Jay Davidson. Go to https://www.eric-and-ray.net/listen
to hear it.
Eric & Ray,
Thanks for reviewing "Fun Outside". Actually there isn't any real defined melody. It was just a quick jam on a chord progression I stumbled upon.
Congrats on your Top Tens... well deserved.
Wow! There are 17 songs in Top Ten lists. Thanks for listening, everyone.
Thanks for reviewing JUST LOVE BEING IN LOVE .
Sorry it wasn't to your taste , but at least you were honest .
On the bright side , it's recently been selected by a publisher.
Thanks for your review of FRAGILE .
I never know which genre to put my songs under !
Thanks for reviewing "Life With Blurred Vision". As for the piano sounds, it was what I had to work with at the time some 20 years ago. The technology has improved a bit since then.
Hi Eric and Ray--Thanks for your review of "Head in the Clouds". I appreciate it! I agree about the eq issue at 1:37, now to figure out how I can edit it.
Hey, guys! I appreciate the review of my little play on words, "Another Day Younger With You". You always have excellent commentary.
Hey Eric and Ray. Thank for your review of my song Pure Love. Could really use real players to make it really work. Feel free to bring it to life :) Sending good thoughts your way. kj
Hello Eric and Ray, thank you for your kind review regarding my song Riders Of Temptation. Lindsay
It's me again gents! Thanks for your review of At Christmas Time and I take your point about the main vocal reverb.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Just had a listen to a couple of your songs, some special quality there! Jazz is not really my bag but I do recognise top notch instrumentation and production when I hear it. Mighty impressed gentlemen.
Thank you for a great review of Rockin' On A Saturday Night (sometimes wish I had shorter song titles!), I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It's one of my older songs and that makes it especially interesting that no one in about twenty reviews has commented on the drum "prelude" you highlighted. It's a fair point now that I've listened again! TBH I have no idea now why I put those few beats in, possibly because I thought listeners might think the whole song was going to be without percussion and might have switched off?
I'm much obliged for your review. Happy New Year.
